Nightmare on Elm Street Collection (1-7)(BD) [Blu-ray]

Great for price, great video quality very good compared to the DVD collection which I also have. They cleaned up some of the problems with the video in first movie. It's nice add to A Nightmare on Elm Street collection.

I decided to buy the Blu-ray films and get rid of my DVDs. What I really love is that it comes with tons of extras. Every movie has great picture and audio. Each movie, is packed with extra content: Music videos, talking with the cast and directors, looking back, and so on. My favorite films are the first, third, fourth and New Nightmare. But it's great getting all the original movies.Blu-rays can last a long time. Longer than DVD's because they're durable and better scratch resistant. DVDs can get scratched easily. The collection comes in a slim Blu-ray case and fits easily in your movie collection.

My son loves horror films, but was especially addicted to the "Halloween" series of movies. Great collection in great condition

I'm a huge fan of The Nightmare on Elm Street films (with the exception of the terrible part 5 and 6). The first one is one of the best horror films ever made 5/5 rating, Part 2 is extremely underrated and disliked but I think its a very solid and dark sequel 4/5 rating, Part 3 is very good 4/5 rating, Part 4 is my favorite of the sequels and is one hell of a Nightmare on Elm Street film 5/5 rating, Parts 5&6 are a complete waste of celluloid 1/5 rating for both and Wes Craven's New Nightmare is a near masterpiece with the only flaw being the last 15 minute terrible ending 4/5 rating. It would have been incredible if Craven could have made New Nightmare a 3 hour epic horror film with the last hour being something incredible from the moment Nancy starts excepting the world of the script for the new film Craven is writing and her son gets kidnapped by Freddy. It would have been perfect if this collection would've also had the terrific Freddy vs. Jason 4/5 rating which is oddly included on the Friday the 13th collection instead which is Paramount but Freddy vs. Jason is New Line Cinema like the rest of the Freddy films. This collection is terrific and a must own for any Nightmare on Elm Street fan. Unfortunately it doesn't contain the superb 4 hour documentary Never Sleep again but you can buy that separately and it's well worth it. It's an incredible documentary.

The transfers are good, and plenty of special features. Even has 2 episodes of the TV show, which is the only official means of seeing it.
