has anyone found an adapter to allow use of older Kenmore attachments on this one?

I went to a local store that fixes vacuums. They ordered me an adapter that fits all my old attachments on my new vacuum.

Why does Amazon allow a merchant to rate seven different vacuums as if they are all the same, so no one knows which review is for which model?

Does it come with a floor brush attachment?

how often do filters need to be changed

We have a 2400 sf home with a combination of hardwood and carpeting. We have one large luxury rug in the family room, and two collies. We've used the vacuum 4x on the floors and to remove pet hair from the sofas and bedding. So far, the bag indicator light has not illuminated, and when I check, it appears to still have room for more hair/dirt ... I'm guessing one more pass before it needs to be changed. So in our personal experience, it seems to hold quite a bit and you won't be feeding this vac very often with expensive bags!
