It's very easy to twist the filler cap on to a tire
My EPAuto unit arrived sooner than was originally scheduled, so yes the delivery was fast.I immediately opened the compact box, and typical guy, bypassed the included manual; what's there to know, right? Plug & play - not so fast.Luckily express instructions are on the outside of the box, and while it's not totally intuitive, after a few false starts it began to inflate the first of four tires. It's very easy to twist the filler cap on to a tire; push the start button, and that's what I want to comment on. Other reviews mentioned noise, but the comments didn't prepare me for the NOISE! If your town/city community/neighborhood/condo has noise ordinances, this unit is going to bring the swat team down on you. Even snakes will slither away from this!On the other hand, if you have neighbors like mine; the lady next door uses brooms as transportation, not to sweep the few leaves that fall from her magnolia. For that they have a nitro-powered leaf blowers with the silencer removed. Well this little compressor is a match for the blower, so it's officially on between us!Seriously, this is a yappy angry chihuahua who's having a bad day kinda noise.....BUT it works!Set the desired pressure, count the agonizingly noisy seconds and it shuts itself off, adding a complimentary pound to the total to allow for the hiss when you unscrew the hose.I'm one of those: a place for everything and tidy kind of people. The place for the hose within the unit is straight forward; coil it in and done; then there's the matter of the power cord.....you're going to wish you had taken that origami class at your local community college. I stubbornly went at this frustrating task in the comfort of my garage; I cannot imagine getting this cord back in the unit while at the side of the road - road rage is guaranteed. Who ever designed the wire management part of the unit has a wicked sense of humor. The particular car I tried the compressor on has been sitting idle off and on for about six months, and the unit was up to the task of topping off the missing 1.5-2.0 pounds that the tires needed. I live in a city with so many potholes that they have names and social security numbers, so I think this will fill a need. It's definitely better than the air hoses at gas stations, the ones that shut off just as you finish the third tire and you're then forced to nicely ask the snotty teen at the cash register to restart the compressor, getting a scowl for inconveniencing him. I also hate the filthy black snake that wants to hide in the steel box and likes to blacken my hands in exchange. So yeah, get this compressor.

A Small Tire Inflator
This is a good product so far. It seems to me well made with durable materials. It works well for bike tire inflating.I like the threaded attachment, compared with the clamp-on type. The pump assemble includes a Presta valve adapter and other useful accessories. The power cord is a 12 V car plug type and may not be long enough to reach all tires on a car.I dislike the cord storage compartment. It is a little difficult to pack the hose and cord after every use.The original cardboard box is useful as a storage container.

It works, it’s convenient, it’s loud
It’s works great. I liked the built in pressure gauge, which seems to remain accurate. This little box is loud! If you have to pressure up a tire early in the morning, your neighbors won’t thank you. It’s not particularly fast; not like a commercial compressor, but I didn’t expect a small box compressor to be fast. It took about 5 minutes to fill a run-flat tire from 16 to 34 psi. It’s a great convenience. Fits in a small bag in back of my Mini. Great for run flat tires to get you to a station. Safer than trying to change a conventional tire roadside. It can give you enough air to get off the highway to a safe spot.

Good built quality and performance
Initial experience with the product is excellent. It is compact and well built compared with similar pumps I used in the past. Cable and hoses of proper, usable lengths. I particularly like their choice and quality of the screw-on connector to the tire valve. I already used their presta-valve adapter too and it is again of excellent quality versus what I have seen in the past. Instructions are short and clear. Time limit (10 minutes) of operation is well explained and rational for the product size and purpose.Performance: it raised pressure of each of my SUV tires 235/65R18 from 34psi to 42psi in 3 minutes each, very good. It topped off my 700c bicycle tires from high 60s range psi to 90psi in similar time. No indications that it has any problem with high end specification pressure (toward 100psi limit). No problems in operation. No excessive heat. Well within its abilities.

Compact and cost-effective
When I received this, it was a lot smaller than I thought it was. I found it hard to judge the size based on the photos on the Amazon sales page. I was hoping it was small and compact, but could not be sure based on the photos. See my picture, which provides some scale with my hand. The device worked very well in inflating one of my tires which had a screw in it, causing a slow leak. I had to use it several days in a row until I could get to Costco to replace the tire. It inflated the tire without issue. Both the hose and electrical wire tuck into the side of the device. When activated, the pump is noisy, but no noisier than other inflators that I’ve used in the past for other cars. In short, this is a compact, very well priced and effective tire inflator. I now keep it in my trunk.

Worked well until it failed. Seller was very responsive
This was for my sedan.I like that it screws onto the valve stem, as the clamp mounts can be awkward to manipulate at times, like in cold weather. When it initially blew my factory accessory outlet's 10 amp fuse, I installed another outlet under the hood connected the battery with a 15 amp fuse. I wanted to do this anyway for convenience, although it does not reach the opposite rear tire. It stopped working altogether 10 months or so after I bought it, and I e-mailed the seller. They were very responsive and sent me a new unit.I then took out 5 screws and looked in the case, finding a piece of rubber anti-vibration insulation had dislodged and was stuck in the gearing. I pulled it out with pliers. If your unit quits working altogether, you may want to have a look inside, if you care to. I'm going to check inside the new one before I put it in the trunk. It only takes a skinny phillips screwdriver. I'm sure the seller won't want everyone disassembling their units, but I want to rely on this. I sent photos of the problem to the seller and they were genuinely thankful that I may have identified a potential manufacturing issue.
