Far better than most “bargain” tarps on Amazon
I’ve used this tarp for a number of hammock camping trips over the last three years, and I have to say that it has been an excellent tarp. My 11 foot hammock fits comfortably underneath, and I’ve never had a drop of water get in.The diamond shape is something I really love. Somewhat out of style these days, but gives a much more open and scenic view from your hammock than a hex shaped tarp. The diamond doesn’t provide quite as much coverage or privacy as a hex, but makes up for it in increased ventilation on hot days. The diamond shape is definitely my pick for summer trips when I don't have to worry about truly violent storms.Hanging the Foxelli is relatively simple. The guylines work well, as do the plastic sliders. But learn how to hang the tarp before you go out on your first great adventure. Learn how the sliding tensioners work, and how to tie a line to a tree with a trucker's hitch. Those two points will make your first official hang a breeze. All in all, I highly recommend this tarp. It’s honestly a steal for the price. Good durable materials. Excellent stitching. Not too heavy or bulky. Keeps off the rain, sun and bird poop. Just enough tarp to get by with, for a person who wants a minimum of coverage, and a maximum amount of view.

Durable and does the job well!
This tarp has worked great so far for me. I used this while camping in New Zealand, and it performed well. The tarp is really durable, and the size is perfect for my ~11’ hammock. The first initial set up can take a while, but now I am able to leave 2 of the ropes connected which makes setup much faster. The stakes provided are strong. The bag is a perfect size, it is a snug fit without having to stuff the tarp in. The ropes do seem a little small, but they are strong and long enough for what I needed. Kept me dry, and the logo on both sides looks cool too. It is really satisfying hearing the drops of rain above you, but not worrying about getting wet in your hammock. Definitely worth it for the money!

Light weight!
4 stars only because I haven't used in the rain. Feels like great quality, it's light weight. I'm using it as a dry spot to build and break down gear on my next backpacking trip.

All-around Good Value Hammock Tarp for Good Weather
So this is a diamond cut tarp intended for use with a hammock - keep that in mind - it's not a general purpose tarp. The ridge line length of the diamond is longer than the side wing length of the diamond.Foxelli ad specs are better than many for tarps on Amazon, but pressure head of water isn't listed; the tarp is made of rip stop polyester, so it won't absorb water and sag, and should be adequately durable used as a hammock camping tarp - not as a big box store tarp over firewood. The "ridge line", the line formed between the diagonally opposed tie outs used to suspend the tarp, is about 12ft.This means you need to have trees about 15ft apart to suspend the tarp properly. The diamond cut means that you have triangular shaped protection on each side, about 6ft to the tip. This means you can suspend the tarp at about 6ft high and guy out the sides at 45 degrees with maybe 4ft long guy line cords to ground from the wing corners. The color is a dull silver - I like that. It blends to the surroundings and may reflect some heat, too.Cords provided are better than some. They are white and reflective - good for "seeing" before "tripping", day or night. Triangular Line Locks are provided for adjustment, too.The Stakes provided (2) are "Y" and well made... 7" long and work fine in most ground. (I use a steel spike stake to drive a starting hole in really rocky/skree/hard ground.Whole package weighs just over a single pound.Included stuff sack adequate in size to hold the tarp after use, along with guys, stakes, etc.Anything I don't like? Well... the corners are reinforced, but the tie points are grommets rather than reinforced webbing loops. I don't like grommets, which tend to tear out. So I use 1/8" lengths of shock cord in a lark's head at each corner through the grommet, then lark's head either the guy lines or the lines to the trees to those shock cords.Another technique for suspension is to use a ridge line cord, and use Prusik knots on the ridge line to toggle to the shock cords lark's headed to the corner grommets - this allows adjusting by sliding the tarp along the ridge line. So, I believe this tarp is fine for "good weather" camping - that is camping when heavy rains and winds are not expected, but shade from the sun, as well as protection from spring and fall rains and morning dew (and nuts falling out of the trees) is needed - which is for most overnight camping trips.

Great Product
I bought this as an insurance plan for backcountry elk hunting when all I had was my pack. I got stuck in three days of rain miles from the road, and I sat under this fly everyday staying perfectly dry. It’s small and light, and will go with me on every trip going forward. I came home and bought another one to keep in my truck in case I need two on the next hunt, one for tent and one for hunting under. It performed flawlessly and was easy to setup, even without the included stakes and paracord if you already have rope in your pack.
