This great kettle, due to the filter size you can't fill it as full as a standard Kettle. However now I have clean water instead of Welsh water. I miss Manchester water!!

Bought this kettle to replace my old plastic one as I'd had it quite a few years. Very good pourability and the lid opens wide enough for filling with water. The only thing that could be better is when it boils it takes a long time to go off. Not sure if it's energy efficient but most kettle's take quite a bit of power anyway. All in all it's a good kettle and with the filter you don't get any nasties in your hot drink.

I ordered my kettle July 2020 and only now is it going in the blink! Simply the most rugged kettle I have ever owned. Don’t get me wrong the little plastic tab to lift the top broke a few months after buying it, but I just filled through the spout and never used the Brita cartridges so I just used it for many years without fault. Even the blue LED in the water never blew out! It’s now in the blink as the round base that the kettle slits into that electrical connection is finally I think giving up. But after 6 years of extreme family use can’t fault it. I will 100% buy another one soon!

Love this kettle so much. I live in an area with extremely hard water, so cups of tea with the tap water in a normal kettle were really awful. But now with the filter in the kettle, the tea is absolutely gorgeous. The only very tiny downside is, of course the water takes a minute or 2 to be filtered when the kettle is first filled, but that is a small price to pay for the quality of the water. Really highly recommend this kettle.

If you've got the taste buds of a gormet, the patience of a saint,a very small family and deep pockets this is the kettle for you. Having used it I find it barely has the capacity to make 2/3 standard cups of tea when filled to the "max" mark. To fill it you have to fill the funnel twice and let it drain through the filter each time (not much fun if your in a rush). If you want to continue the experience filters have to be bought regularly and they last about a month. The filter indicator is just a clock that counts down a bar a week. Coffee and tea does taste better though.
