There's a blue sealing gasket round all inner rims to keep contents secure, damp proof and relatively air tight.Top has a built in flip top lid which stays open when pushed back and the porthole opening is 3.25" x 4.5" - big enough to get your hand inside, or a measuring scoop.It's been designed to be versatile and it's been made from strong plastics, freezer proof and dishwasher safe. Good product and will keep all sorts of dry goods safely stored.I'm using mine to store home made muesli in, and it does a terrific job of holding 3kg at a time with room to spare.This'll last many years.

Perfect for my dishwasher tablets that needed to be in air tight container as getting damp . The right size for large box of tablets would be same for laundry tablets . Not too big in cupboard either . Would have preferred a better price

Quality is excellent and in this price size is also good. I'm storing rice and flour in them. Yes, due to the shape of the container I'm not able to fill it completely on the other hand it make it easer to store the box and take something out of it without moving it.

Great box. Just what I wanted to store my laundry powder. Shame about the delivery driver though...just dumped my package, knocked on the door and went straight back to his van without waiting for a reply. He did the same with my neighbour..and we were both at home!!

separate lid to open to get to your biscuits and big enough for an average man's size hand to get in. Great price and quality seems really good, lids close and open as you want them to.

Well, I was looking for something a bit cheaper but couldn't really find any thing else that fitted the bill; other styles were just going to take up too much room and be awkward to use so I got this as it should last forever.I needed it for washing powder as the powder comes in a cardboard box, which is good and part of the reason I'm moving over to powders, but you really need to transfer it to an airtight container as it will go lumpy left in the box and it's hard to measure out of the box.This item holds 2.25kg of washing powder easily, and I can just get my hand in to scoop it out, although I think I would be better with a long handled scoop just to make it easier, especially when there is less powder in.

Strong construction. Seals snap shut and are tight. You can use with lid on or off.I like the design. Very pleased.

I was disappointed as I thought they’d be bigger and/or deeper than what they were (even after measuring) but I decided to try and make them work. I like that they stack and allow easy access. Great for storing small bag of rice (3kg) or flour. Good addition to a pantry if you’re tight on space. They seem fairly sturdy and airtight. I think they should be cheaper as it’s expensive for the size that they are but overall good product.
