Q: Are these lil doohickies "square"? Is there variation in 90* from one to another? I want to attach magnets to make jigs for a magnetic building board.

They are all the same 90 degree angle. They are very cheaply made and do not securely hold items. I regret buying them.

Q: Do these have any metal in them? Wondering if they could go in a microwave for a minute.

No metal, however I don't think they can go in a microwave.
