Intro:______I purchased this for my Yorkshire Terrier. Those that know this particular breed doesn't have typical “Fur”; in fact, it’s very similar to human hair with no undercoat. They are generally high maintenance when it comes to grooming to keep their hair in top condition. As you can see in the attached image, he’s not your typical show dog Yorkie. I prefer to keep him short as this helps with keeping him cleaner for an extended time and free from tangles, and making maintenance a little easier while bathing and drying. I try and have him professionally groomed at least every eight weeks, but due to lockdown, our trusted mobile groomer has been unable to come to our home to do so. When he’s groomed and bathed, he fills the house with the scent of baby powder or similarly scented. I have asked which shampoo she used. To be pointed into the direction of this brand, surprisingly, I have used other products by them without really thinking much, in the form of their colognes which are also pleasantly scented. As our little one loves to visit the beach, he gets covered in sand, both dry and wet, loves to dip his paws into the water or roll around in all sorts. He easily gets dirty and quickly.Pro:______* There's no need to dilute, and this is something I hate with other shampoos as you need to get the exact ratio for it to be effective in cleansing. My previous “professional” shampoo was £20+, required dilution and lasting just over two months as I needed to use twice the amount to lather or do what shampoo is supposed to do so that it could’ve lasted another two months, not exactly wallet-friendly. Now lathering isn’t a sign of shampoo being any better, but it does help give better distribution of the product and see any areas that need attention.* The pleasant fresh scent seems to hang around a few days after bathing, and the aroma fills the home without being overpowering, although you get a whiff of it when he’s nearby.* My Yorkie has sensitive skin, which seems to react to most shampoos, except baby shampoo. These are gentle on the skin and hair but ineffective at removing stubborn dirt graduals. Excess oil and other debris, granted they’re not generally for pets use. Even though this particular shampoo has a strong perfume scent which is usually a trigger for most dogs, it doesn’t interfere with his skin or causes an adverse reaction which his skin can be prone to experiencing.* A conditioner isn’t required. It doesn’t dry out the hair nor the delicate skin underneath. Since the groomers and myself have been using it, there has been no flakey irritated skin or dandruff insight.Con:______* Unfortunately, no pump supplied, and after scouring Amazon, I couldn't find one suitable, particularly for a 5L bottle of this size. However, I have purchased a separate refillable 500ml shampoo pump action bottle for a few pounds and a funnel to use alongside to top-up when required. I’m surprised this wasn’t thought of before, as pouring the bottle isn’t optional or user friendly, using far more product than needed. I wouldn’t mind if they sold this separately then used it across all their larger sized bottles for ease of use and convenience.Conclusion:______Overall I no issue recommending this shampoo. It keeps the coat smelling clean as though just freshly bathed, leaves the hair silky whilst giving a non-greasy natural shine and free from excessive oil without stripping too much, ultimately leaving the hair and skin dry. Purchasing the larger sized bottle isn’t as convenient to use, but it’s more value for money, saving just over £14 compared to the 1L option alone as long as you can find an alternative bottle to dispense. Due to its massive volume and very little product needed as it lathers nicely and works well, this will easily last a year if not more with bathing biweekly or weekly if required for £20 you cannot complain really.

Brilliant, purchased for the most important member of our family ;-D, our Bichon Frise, sadly, who's endured so much in such a short space of time.From both cruciate ligaments going within 5 months of each other, to a nasty bowel blockage and subsequent operation, which all combined; we believe the stress of all, then unfortunately, caused her to start having focal seizures, and since has been on daily medication to control, we're ever so thankfully for our pet insurance!Apologies as I digress. As with so much happening, we decided our loving Pooch should be always have the best, and after reading this shampoos positive feedback, thank you, this was an easy decision to make and purchase.When first used, after once dried, her coat was so super soft with such a lovely notable aroma, incidentally that was commented on buy a couple of family members, as such a lovely smell.So yes, we consider this shampoo is up with the best, that's without doubt Salon standard, high quality shampoo that with it's size will seem to last forever!Like us, why not give your four legged friend an extra treat by making them smell lovely, coupled with such a soft health looking coat, what's not to like! As even the asking price is good enough that we'll happily purchase again, if it even runs out 😉Overjoyed since our purchase, that we'll also be buying their matching conditioner.Highly Recommend.

Shocked to see the massive price rise. It was £19 for 4 litres when I last purchased. Although this shampoo is very good, gets rid of all traces of dirt and makes my dogs smell lovely, I've gone for a different brand this time round where it's £23 for 5 litres.

I have a Pomeranian pup who has a double coat, I was told he enjoyed baths however he didn't when I first tried him, slowly he has learnt to accept the fact he has a bath every now and then and he's much better.In this heat it actually cools him down so he enjoys it and I can let him dry naturally or in front of a fan and he seems much more comfortable.The smell is exactly the same as baby talc and it's amazing, the smell lasts on his fur for such a long time and he's also immaculately clean and his coat is in perfect condition along with his skin

Doggies smell like babies. The scent lasts a few days and it leaves their fur very soft. Lathers well. A little goes a long way. Been using this brand for a few years and would highly recommend.

This lasts ages, smells lovely and gets the pooch clean without irritating his skin. His fur is always nice and shiny afterwards. It’s quite thick so I dilute it at the point of use, meaning it’s easier to emulsify and making it last longer too.

I've had many dogs over the years , tried so many dog shampoos also , i thought i would give one a try , my honest review on this , why haven't i used it before, lovely and creamy with a good lather ,my dog smells like a new baby and leaves a lovely shiny soft coat , best dog shampoo i have ever used and I'll never buy anything else, highly recommended 🐶
