At nearly £11 you might expect a hardback book with a decent amount of content; this is more of a paperback pamphlet. We bought it as a gift but this will probably look like the meanest gift we have given this year.

Bought this for my 12 year old granddaughter. Decent sized book.with an array of chapters for a teen girl to read and understand what'it will be like to be a teenager. And help with problems that may arise . Chapters on hygiene friends arguments and much more. Definitely a book to buy for a pre teen on what to expect growing up.

It was a good book for the young girl about to be a teenager as it covers the onset of puberty and all the physical changes, plus the ups and downs of friendships, and tips for earning pocket money. It doesn’t go any further than that. It’s written for the USA market so lots of phrases and school terminology in American English.
