Get this for the best bang for buck
This is the best model in their lineup if you want to spend the least amount of money for the most features. The other models above this have a couple more gimmicks that raise the price another 100 dollars or more. The only reason you to get the edge is if you are gonna do looooooooooooooong road trips where you need the thing to be on for an entire day non stop. Otherwise, the battery lasts long enough for multiple multi-hour rides.- amazing speakers (use the included spacers to get them as close to your ears as possible)- amazing microphone (no wind noise, super clear) and the choice between a little dot mic or one on a flexible arm.- the install was about as easy as it could be- the app is pretty great, lots of options to make it how you like but sometimes takes some messing with it to connect.- the mesh talk is great once its set up but the set up can be annoying at first. The range is great but dense trees will start to cut that down fairly quick- it has its own voice commands that suck but you don't have to use it and your assistant of choice works great with it

Best Comms Unit on the Market
The Cardo pack talk edge is the best value for the money in the Cardo catalog. I’ve never in the years I’ve owned this unit had any Bluetooth connectivity issues, it fits perfectly on every helmet made to accept a comms unit. The JBL speakers have great quality, with an adjustable EQ in the application. It is easy to use with only 4 buttons very well spaced out for use while wearing gloves. Overall this is the best comms unit I’ve ever used.

If you are considering this unit, buy it!
I had a FodSport unit before this one and the upgrade was totally worth it! Don't get me wrong, the FodSport unit was fantastic bang for your buck, but this Cardo unit outperforms in every category!Controls on the helmet are very easy to use while riding and the voice controls remove the need to even use physical buttonsfor those who want to use the feature. The voice controls for Cardo work awesome and recognize my voice every time.Sound quality is amazing! This unit is much louder than the FodSport with a significantly higher audio quality. Once again, for the price the FodSport unit is great, but if you are okay with a higher price point, buy the Cardo.I have not used the mesh communication yet (Do not know anyone else with one) but everything I have read suggests the Cardo system is great. I have taken phone calls with the Cardo and I was able to have a conversation, which I could hardly do with the FodSport. They did say my audio was grainy, but I was going 55 MPH on a motorcycle, so I will take it.My helmet is a Scorpion EXO Covert 2. The system fits well on the helmet but the faceplate does not leave much room for the mic. I have the mic near my left cheek, it pushes against my cheek a bit but isn't uncomfortable there and allows me to use the voice features.I do often review products on Amazon, but not to this detail. With the cost of the item I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and I am hoping this review will help someone else make the jump to buy a Cardo!

Not really waterproof
Overall, we are very pleased with the sound and clarity of this Cardo Neo- We previously used the cardo Packtalk bold by Cardo. On our first road trip using this, we got caught in significant rain. This road trip was 6-8 hours per day on the motorcycle. After some intermittent rain the day before followed by a heavy rain shower on day two, we lost connectivity between our units. We eventually concluded that water had gotten into my Neo unit. We decided to try a small amount of dielectric grease on the outside of the usbC insert. This did fix the problem. I would like to point out that the mounting, charging and waterproofing of the old packtalk Bold was superior- but the clarity, ability to communicate over distance and the length of charge are better with the Cardo Neo

Cardo Neo first impression.
The JBL speakers in this Bluetooth provide excellent sound quality. The Cardo app is easy to use.Unlike some other Bluetooth systems, listening to music and using Bluetooth communication are possible simultaneously.

Lower end model with all the core functions, I love it as a motorcycle noob!
Love my pack talk neo! Got it on a killer sale. It's definitely a cheaper version of their flagship but i've had 0 issues. Speakers work great, connection works great even with no service the peer to peer connection that works like a walkie talkie still works loud and clear and its great for riding back roads with friends

Life changing
If you are considering a Cardo, stop considering it and buy one. This thing is an absolute game changer. Not only the pack talk feature which is wild, but phone calls while riding your motorcycle? Insane. Like truly insane. Hang up on them and pay attention to the road. If only my wife didn't know I can answer phone calls. More importantly though, pay attention to the Notoricues B.I.G. as he serenades you through the 40mm jbl speakers on both sides of your noodle as you ride through those back highways and city streets.Seriously the FM radio is amazingly string and clear signal, the Bluetooth is outstanding. The mic has noise canceling for phone calls and responds to Siri. The only thing lacking in audio quality is a little bass but if you wear earplugs (which you should) they will push up against the speaker a little bit and that bass will rumble through.Easy install but I'll warn you on this. Choose the install wisely by putting the speakers in first. When you stick the unit on the helmet, you only get one shot do not miss your chance to blow.Worth it, especially if you can get them on sale.Keep the dirty side down. Cheers.
