AMAZING for Medtronic 670G w/Guardian Sensor
Being a Type 1 Diabetic for over the past 37 years, I can attest that there isn’t much that I get excited about with shots and finger sticks. That being said, I have been an insulin pump user since 1998. I have recently started using the Medtronic 670G with the Guardian sensor. Prior to my new pump, I had the Animas Vibe with the Dexcom G4. Let me tell you, I used everything under the sun to make the Dexcom G4 adhere to my body. The adhesive they provided was terrible, it would begin to peel on the 3rd day. I seriously got to the point that I didn’t even use the Dexcom G4 because I wasted too many dollars for a product that could not adhere to my body. I’m sure I could have done more research, but I was just done!My save in grace!1. When I was informed that Animas was no longer going to manufacture their insulin pumps and I was having to switch to Medtronic, I finally felt a sigh of relief. My very first insulin pump was a Medtronic pump. I read up on Medtronic’s newest pump and their Guardian sensor and a smile came to my face. My best friend since childhood, who too is a Type 1 Diabetic, and has been on the Medtronic 670G with the Guardian CGM for over 1-1/2yr, told me about Simpatch. She told me how well their product adhered to her body and she also informed me of their impeccable customer service.2. Upon using the Simpatch for my very first time, it was very easy to apply. I first wiped the area I was injecting the Guardian CGM sensor with one SkinPrep pad. Then I placed the Simpatch over the Guardian CGM and voila, it adhered perfectly. (See pictures provided - the patch is adhered to my right leg)3. The Simpatch “NEVER” lifted on the edges, not even when I reached the 7th day of my sensor to be changed. Let me also add, I workout at minimum 3 days per week. I run, bicycle and weight train, oh and living in Florida with 90 – 100 degree temps, sweating is inevitable. That ALL being said, the Simpatch “NEVER” failed!4. Changing out the Simpatch is as easy as applying. Removing the old Simpatch, I lifted lightly on the edges and it came off with ease. My skin never felt like it was peeling off with the Simpatch, unlike it did when I used the original adhesive provided by Medtronic. If you need, you can use an adhesive remover wipe (like Reliamed or Unisolve) as you are removing the Simpatch. To the owner of Simpatch, James Duffy, who so nicely sent an e-mail message thanking me for my purchase, I don’t know how else to describe your product other than…AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT!!! I love it so much that I am going to buy the other colors of purple and blue you have available. I wish you would make more colors, because in all honesty, I like showing it off. Yes, I find the Simpatch makes my Guardian sensor look hip. It makes me proud to show that I am a Type 1 Diabetic that is fighting the fight and refuses to ever quit!THANK YOU Simpatch and mostly, THANK YOU JAMES DUFFY!!!

These work fabulous!
I tried different brands and within a few days they were falling off. When I tried these I couldn’t believe it. At day 15 they were still holding firm. Every 15 days I am pleasantly surprised at how good they worked. When I get low I will order these again. A nice extra was their low price and how comfortable they are. They stretch sideways instead of pulling on my skin or falling off.

Great patches, long lasting, great with Libre system.
My husband uses the Libre 14 day continuous glucose monitoring device. He finds he has to cover the sensor with an adhesive patch or he bumps into doorways or furniture and knocks the sensor off. He finds these patches usually last the 14 days. Toward the end of the 14 day period there might be some lifting around the edges, but not too bad. In the summer if he is really active, we might need to change the patch after 8 days or so, but it is easy to hold the sensor down and remove the adhesive patch to replace it with a new one. Usually I do this for him. I firmly hold my thumb on the sensor, use other fingers/hand to work patch loose, peel patch off part of sensor, place thumb back on bare sensor and finish peeling patch off. Replace with new patch. He showers, swims, sweats, sleeps with the patches on.He has sensitive skin, but has had few reaction to these. He moves the location of the patch to give his skin a break. He tried other patch styles in the beginning, but these were the best ones. No sensor errors. No lost sensors. He loves the Libre system.

Impressed so far
I'm new to using such things as a Simpatch -- I've only recently been given a CGM (Continuous Glucose Meter). But the tape that came with it failed within 3 to 4 hours of wearing it. So I did a little research and found a lot of favorable reviews about Simpatch. So I ordered them to give them a try. First, they gave me different ones from what I ordered -- I ordered the oblong ones that have a circle in the middle that has no adhesive. Instead I was sent the oblong with all adhesive, even in the center. Because I couldn't wait for a return/resend, I decided to just use them anyway. That was a good call! These actually work fantastically! I live in California, where we're seeing record breaking heatwaves, and I have no A/C... so, sweat is a factor. But not for these patches! They're still holding strong! I have a 7 day sensor and I'm on day 3, so I fully expect these to go the distance. If not, I'll try a little liquid adhesive to see if I can get a little more time out of it. But I'm optimistic based on performance so far. As of right now I would highly recommend these, but beware when ordering... you might not get the exact version you ordered.Update: It is now day 7 and the Simpatch is still doing quite well! With the exception of a tiny edge losing stickiness, the patch has stayed attached perfectly throughout the sensor's 7 day lifespan. I highly recommend these for 7 day sensors. If you have a 10 or 14 day sensor, your miles may vary.

Works well, minimal edge fraying
This works well, occasionally the (lack of flex!!!) and compression can cause compression lows in the Medtronic sensor: not previously experienced with a stretcher version of NASA KP like CGM tape. The issue seems to be resolved by applying a softer pressure directly around the CGM. After 24 years of CGM application with the addition of IV Prep, it is easy to occasionally overdo it to make sure you're not going to rip it off going past a door, just take it easy on pressing the the tape down. This brand stays on well, but you do want to wait at least 3 hrs for the adhesive to adhere before exposure to water. Son also uses the G6 version and has not had issues with loss before sensor changes.
