TimexEasy Reader 35 mm Date Window Watch

I have worn one of these watches every day for years. Clear and legible, superb backlit dial, and it looks smart! This is my second, as I finally wore out my previous one. I cannot recommend it highly enough. As a bus driver, the ease if use and indiglo is indispensable. My favourite part about this watch is that it's wearable all the time. As a dress watch, at work, at the gym. You can even wear it whilst swimming.

The media could not be loaded. Really happy with the look of this watch, especially for the price paid. I accidentally bought the smaller 35mm version but it really sit well on my wrist, simple but classy at the same time. I especially like the indiglo feature, I’m sure it will come in handy in the future. For the price I might buy another one for in the future when this one starts to wear out. Good everyday watch for all occasions. Looks:Classy, well made, like a more expensive watch.

This is a really good day-to-day watch. A simple dial face which is easy to see and use but not chunky, as so many others are. The subtle night light is a really good feature (and a nice colour). Seems to be accurate but only had it a day so not much to go on. The only problem was the packaging which was full-on retail display with lots of anti-theft plastic bands and even a plastic stand. It would be good if manufacturers could provide alternative eco packaging for online sale goods that are not destined for retail display in shops.

These are fantastic cheap and cheerful watches. They just work, accurate, look good and easy to read. I have one but bought another (resale) as I needed the movement to replace a faulty unit in a 2004 model which has sentimental value. Timex have not changed the size or design of these movements in over 20 years. If it ain't broke don't try and fix it, says something!! Put it on my quartz tester when done and getting +0.2 seconds a day. Indiglo works perfectly also very bright. Fantastic watches for the price 👍

Review for Timex Easy Reader 35mm after five years:It just works. Time reading at the briefest glance (useful for social situations where you are bored!) and great night illumination. After five years heavy use, the battery needed changing, which I did myself. Also got a new rubbery strap with quick release spring bars.It's a great watch for travelling, as not too flashy and doesn't attract attention. Take this and an F-91W and you're covered.

It's now my holiday watch when in Europe.It has a bit of bling to it but being of reasonable cost I'm not too concerned if it gets damaged or lost. It keeps good time and more importantly it has a clear display with the option to light it up in the dark.I bought this as my daily watch kept stopping even after changing the battery. Daily watch now working again and so I'm saving this new one for holidays now it's set to EU time after a recent holiday in Germany.

There are a lot of watches out there without much provenance. They may be very good, but who knows. There are a lot of really good watches from £100-£1000, I cannot afford. Timex was around when I was a young man over 60 years ago and still makes fine watches. I think its unbeatable for the price and proudly wear it.

Nice easy reader watch, take note of the sizing it is smaller than the normal men's watches, the strap on my wrist was annoying, outer skin is leather but the inside of the strap is a plasticky slippy material and the watch rotates round my wrist, i have bought and fitted a new all leather strap, (from amazon) now perfect.
