Do not buy. The shaver worked for 3 months, after that the battery refused to charge. It is now basically a very expensive ornament.

The best trimmer

This is the 6th and by far the best trimmer I have bought to date in the Remington range. The height adjuster is horizontal in this latest version with smaller increments in height allowing for significantly improved height control. The charge time from zero to full is not excessive. The cutting blades are sharp with not catching. The additional attachments and case makes this a complete trimming set that I can also take on my travels. It's a bit on the pricey side but still presents decent value for money given the amount of use it gets.

Poor build quality

I decided to upgrade after using the series 5 for a few years. After 4 months, the trimmer broke, but I was able to get a refund and decided to try again. Within another 2 months, the 2nd beard trimmer broke in the exact same way. I've added a picture of the new beard trimmer beside my series 5 and you can see the white guard has snapped off. The exact same thing happened with the first series 9 I bought and after 2 attempts, I believe the build quality is very poor. This is disappointing because besides the build quality, every other aspect of the beard trimmer is very impressive, but I'm not prepared to purchase another series 9 knowing it might not last more than 6 months.

Great all in one clipper

Good battery life, a number of useful attachments. Good storage case but the attachments have no real bag or storage. Clipper head can be removed and cleaned. In built size guide is helpfull
