I didn't realize it came as a whole little kit, I was so pleasantly suprised!I love that they include the canvas zipper storage case - this is so handy for storage, or for packing when you know Aunt Flo is supposed to come soon. All the little trial size cleaner and sanitizer packets are awesome!It comes with clear, pictorial instructions on how to insert and remove the disc, if this is your first time trying out a disc, and instructions on how to remove the string if you decide you don't like it (along with a sanding board to sand any rough edges it may leave when you remove it).As for the disc itself -This is the 3rd disc I have tried, and the first that can completely handle my heavy day with ZERO leaking! It took me a few seconds to figure out the right angle to get this one in, with the curved edge. Once inserted, it's very comfortable, you don't feel a thing, and I had no problems with the angle after the first insertion. I ordered the large, as I'm on my feet all day, and on my heavier day it's not always convenient to take it out, empty, and rinse, several times during the day. This completely held my heaviest day with no leaking at all. So nice to not be sitting in blood!It does auto-dump when you pee, but I had zero leaking outside of that. By the 3rd day, I felt so confident with it, I tried it without even wearing a panty liner, and got one tiny drop. I think the curved design helps it fit tighter to your body and keeps it from leaking out behind the disc. I did find if I was sitting for awhile, I occasionally had to dash into the bathroom to reposition the silicone string, but you can't feel the disc at all.NOTE: If this is your first disc, I found it took me a cycle or two with my first disc to really get the hang of getting it positioned right so it doesn't leak. If you don't make sure you get it back all the way, it will leak out behind the disc. Also, I just run my disc under warm water before inserting, and this works for me without a lubricant!

Started with the small size and after some leaking upgraded to the medium. If you’re still using tampons what are you even doing?! This takes some trial and error but once you get the positioning right this is a total game chamber. I love that it self empties so I don’t have to worry about dumping and washing in a public restroom. I also purchased the little steamer from the same brand and love that it makes cleaning so easy.

At first I bought the medium. Such a great size and simple easy insertion but I have a heavy flow and I have to change it every two hours so I recently bought the large and I am so scared to try it because it’s huge!! I wish they wouldn’t have made the large such a big difference in size from medium to large because it looks like I’m going to have to talk myself through it. I’ll come back with an update.

I want to start by saying how absolutely comfortable this disc is. At one point I had forgotten I was on my period. I had used a menstrual cup before and it was such a hassle getting it to seal so I wouldn’t experience leaks. On my lighter days the medium size worked great! But now that I’m on my heavier days I’ll go an hour or two and then start leaking. I assuming I need a bigger size for my heavier days? I would definitely recommend this product. I’ve heard they have wonderful customer service. I’m waiting for a reply still to trouble shoot my issue but I’m sure I will hear from someone soon.

I’ll start by saying that the pixie disc doesn’t self-empty while you’re using the restroom. Since it doesn’t self-empty, it was messy to take out. I was also a pixie cup user, so I decided to try the disc. I found that the cup held more, but the disc was easier to take out and hurts less.. it is definitely leak free so that’s a plus.

Game changer for my suuuuuper heavy flow! I pair the larger disc with Knix underwear and can go 4x as long as I could with the ultra plus tampon size, and almost no leaks.I will warn, it does take a little bit of getting used to in order to tuck it behind your pelvic bone, and if it does leak and you have a heavy flow be prepared for a bloody mess… I usually only empty it at home because it is messy and you have to slowly pull it out right over the toilet so as not to spill everywhere… but you are able to pee with it in without getting a tampon string all wet, so you don’t really need to change it in public anyways!I have used it for 3 or 4 periods now and am never going back! It’s just so much more practical in terms of cost and convenience. I appreciated the multiple sizes too!

These discs are great. They really help with flow control and while they leaked a bit for me (I have a retroverted uterus so proper placement can be complicated, along with a lower cervix), the customer support is amazing. They sent me another large disc and when I was still leaking they sent me cups to try.Cup info: The cups are AMAZING for me! With my uterus being retroverted and my cervix being kind of low/long, the cups fit SO much better for my anatomy than the disc did. Zero leaking, super comfortable (more than a tampon), reusable, everything you could want in a period product. Thanks to this product I decided to also try period underwear and now with these cups and the underwear I don't buy any disposable period products. There's virtually no leaking so the period underwear are just a backup. Pixie Cup is an AWESOME company, you won't regret trying their products. Go for it!
