The smell is fabulous. Sometimes when you order things they can smell old this smells just like it should. It is emulsif. It is . It is emulsifying and feels good... I also bought the body Wash.

Nantucket Briar has been one of my favorite scents for over 20 years. It is a soft fragrance and not overwhelming. I really wish I could fine the perfume at a reasonable price. Between the lotion and the body mist I get compliments all the time. The lotion is thick, non greasy and lasts. I find it absorbs very well. Love it!!!!!!!Another wonderful scent is Savannah Gardens, but I believe the fragrance has been retired.Please bring it back!

I bought this believing it would smell like the small bottle, which is mildly talcy smelling. It is also much thinner spreading in the big size and the small one was thicker (perhaps the powder made it thicker and not as thin or watery). I am donating both bottles and will look for another one that smells better. It now smells like almost every other specialty lotion on the market. I am very disappointed. I believe the ingredients were changed. Will not buy again, sorry.
