Works like a charm
I initially had issues when I was connecting a mini PC’s BIOS chip to my main PC. It was my mistake, I didn’t take out the BIOS jumper, be aware about that. Once it’s connected, I converted a Lenovo m720p from Chromebox to UEFI and then installed windows and later Linux. It was a breeze, but be mindful about what file you are uploading.

It’s a godsend
This thing saved my motherboard! During a BIOS update, my motherboard’s BIOS got corrupted. I bought this programmer hoping to rewrite the BIOS chip on my motherboard. It worked like a charm and ended up saving me thousands of rupees!

Useless clip never connects to pins
Useless clip never connects to pins. And item is non returnable despite of defects could not return it. How amazon allows non returnable for it, atleast there should be replacement option.never buy it.

Better then sending it to service centre
cheaper than sending it to the service centre or any local repairs, i have a acer aspire 3 a314-22, i bricked it by trying to downgrade its BIOS, asked around for repair cost and its was way too much just to reprogram a BIOS chip, so i bought this one and did a bios reprogramming myself, (TIP, if you don't have another pc to reprogram your bios you can use (COMBOTOOL) from github it can also be installed on android, use a otg to connect this tool and program the bios using combotool, though you need BIOS.bin file extracted and renamed it to .rom from bios.fd or any other extension, you can use PHEONIX BIOS EXTRACTER in WINLATOR (an app to run windows soft in android), thats it hope this helps, have a nice day.
