Solid option for the Baofeng
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Well, it’s a battery. Fits well, and both provides a long run time (haven’t let run continuously and amount of to/rx effects duration) but way longer than I typically need. Also, for me, makes the overall size feel better in my hand. Value for money:2 and long lastingFunctionality:Don’t have to worry about battery lifeSize:Great additional heft to the radio without bulk.

Works and easy to charge
Seem to work fine. Original battery or maybe the charger quit working. Wasn't really sure as the original battery only could be charged on the base. These solved the problem since they can be charged with USB C. Fit the radio perfectly. This way I have a backup battery and can charge the radio virtually anywhere.

Work great
The stock batteries didn't last very long. We bought these radios for easy communication while traveling. I am in the RV and my wife pulls a trailer in our suburban. These batteries lasted for a 3 day.

Worked great all day.
Originally the battery didnot fit the radio body.i was pissed. However, we shaved the plastic on the front of the battery and it finally fit. I would have given these batteries a 1 but changed to 4. I love the USB-C charging. We used them while driving 2 cars 2000 miles, 4 days of 10+hrs of use/day. Worked great. Lots of power to spare.

BF-F8HP extended battery with USB capability charging
This battery fit my BF-F8HP perfectly. I have one radio that is about 6 years old and one that is brand new and it fits perfect on both. They charged in about 2.5 hours from the shipping charge to full and function as they should. I just ordered two more so I’m guaranteed to have a full battery for any hunting or off road trips although they can be easily charged via the USB port in my RV, SXS or truck. They can also be charged on the OEM 120v dock. I would definitely make the jump if using a BF-F8HP because it pushes 8 watts and needs extra battery. Nice to have spares in the back pack!
