Strong Seal, No Cracks — My Go-To Bathroom Caulk
This GE Advanced Silicone Caulk is one of the best I’ve used for bathroom and kitchen sealing jobs. The clear silicone goes on smoothly and dries completely transparent, making it ideal for areas where you want a clean, professional finish without noticeable lines. I used it to reseal around my bathroom sink and tub, and it performed exactly as advertised — 100% waterproof, no shrinking, and no cracking even weeks later. The tube size (2.8 oz) is perfect for small to medium repairs. It’s easy to control, and the nozzle lets you apply it with precision. The formula has excellent adhesion — it sticks to ceramic, glass, and metal without any issues. I also appreciate that it’s mold- and mildew-resistant, which is essential for high-moisture areas like the shower.Curing time was about 24 hours before full water exposure, and once cured, the seal is flexible but firm — no peeling or lifting at the edges. It doesn’t have that overpowering vinegar-like smell that some silicone sealants do either.Pros:100% waterproof and mold-resistantStrong adhesion — sticks and staysGoes on clear and dries clearDoesn’t crack, shrink, or peelPerfect for tubs, sinks, and tight spacesCons:Small tube — not ideal for large jobsCan be tough to remove once cured (which is also a plus)Bottom Line:This is high-quality, no-nonsense silicone caulk that does what it promises. If you need a reliable, waterproof seal for kitchen or bathroom repairs, this tube delivers pro results in a DIY-friendly package. I’ll definitely be keeping one on hand for future touch-ups.

Works Almost Too Well
I’ve been using this for around 2 months for my electric skateboard to prevent water leakage into the battery compartment. It works really well in keeping anything out actually, in fact it restricted the airflow and water intake to the point of overheating the battery. So it definitely works well in sealing and preventing leaks of water or wind. It also solidifies fairly quickly, taking a minimum of an hour to clarify and around 1 and 1/2 days to fully cure. It’s also smooth, but it will cure in the shape you leave it in. There is also surprisingly no smell to it, but it’s in such small quantities that it’s somewhat unclear if it actually has an odor. However, it does peel off somewhat easily because it cures squishy, not firm like you’d think. As for the clarity, it doesn’t really make a difference because you’re using this to seal. However it is quite clear still and works with pretty much any sort of material, providing both functional and utilitarian value to this.

Does its Job
A tad disappointing. I expected it to be white, but it kind of mixes white with a luminescent appearance. Goes on well and does what it is supposed to do. I have at the floor/base of my cabinets and it has sealed very well. There is no annoying odor either.

Don’t go cheap on Caulk - because its a painful lesson to learn
If you have ever caulked stuff before - inside or outside - you know what a total pain it is. And ya do it anyway because it’s a critical water sealant.I tried lessor brands to save money many years ago, and learned the hard lesson the hard way, when it cracked in the florida sun and had to do it again. Even a bigger pain because you have to remove the old stuff and prep the surface all over again. LIke i said, learned years ago - dont go cheap on caulk! This small tube i bought only because i put in a new vanity with a quartz top and didn’t need the big tube i usually buy.because reality check - once a tube is opened its shelf life is pretty short - even if you put the cap back on and wrap it with plastic wrap first. Just sayin.GE is my go to silicone brand and thats been true for at least a decade.val
