This has a strong sharp blade. Awesome for all your blending needs. It doesn’t leak around the bottom. Easy to rinse out by hand or put in the dishwasher for cleaning. Anything that is frozen and larger than a golf ball should be broken up or thawed because it doesn’t blend that up easily. This is a well made product and good value for your money.

Our original vitamix pitcher (“professional series 750” model) fell, cracked, and the sidewall would leak . I was very happy to see there’s a somewhat affordable replacement with this purchase although the bottom serrated circular metal piece doesn’t fit well into the base that turns blades. We’ve used this blender maybe 50 times in the several years we’ve had it so it’s not as if the drive socket/spinning portion has eroded - it’s just a bad non-OEM replacement product. It does spin the blades but is so incredibly loud, we don’t use it because it sounds as if it’s breaking something. I planned on replacing the original blades and circular piece and using the new Amazon pitcher but it had already been thrown away. If it had a good snug fit and wasn’t more than twice as loud it was prior it would’ve been a great find/replacement but that’s unfortunately not the case. It’s now an expensive paperweight…

LOVE this blender! I had the taller one but this one fits better under the upper cupboards. I actually get better results with this one than the taller one, generally. The only drawback is if you have a small amount and can't cover the blades sufficiently. Then it doesn't blend so well. But I normally have large quantities, so this is the best blender pitcher for my VitaMix. I kept the taller one for the occasions I have a small amount to blend.

Full disclosure - I thought I was buying the real Vitamix product for a good price. So that is my fault! It is a subpar quality compared to the real thing. Cover is plastic and not pliable (save your old one). Blade sits too high so blending will NOT compare to the original one. I planned to replace the blade with the original (as another reviewer suggested) , however, Vitamix has Black Friday sale and I just bought a new container. This one will be a spare if I need it in a pinch.Other than the motor, the reason you bought the Vitamix is for the design of the container and better blade. Don't waste your money here unless your blender is on its last leg and you plan to buy a new one soon.

Days before Prime Day, I added this potential replacement to my wishlist and purchased it on sale on Prime Day.Pros: This new pitcher boasts a larger capacity than my original, which is a definite advantage. Additionally, it cleans exceptionally easily and quickly, making it ready for immediate reuse.Cons: A notable design difference from the original Vitamix pitcher is the inability to remove the top plastic insert during operation. Attempting to add ingredients or use the tamper while blending results in splashes and spills, making it necessary to turn off the blender first. Also, it doesn't blend nuts or seeds as finely as the Vitamix, leaving them chunky.Verdict: While this replacement has several positive aspects, it falls short of the Vitamix standard, especially in functionality. Hence, I've decided to invest in a genuine Vitamix pitcher and keep this one as a backup. After all, if my Vitamix is still performing well after 13 years, I want to maintain the best possible performance with official parts.
