I’ve been using this UPERFECT 18” 144Hz gaming monitor since Christmas, and honestly, I’m extremely impressed. I was a bit unsure at first, having never heard of the brand, but it’s exceeded all expectations.The picture quality is fantastic, sharp, vibrant, and smooth. The refresh rate is excellent, and paired with my Xbox Series X, it performs flawlessly. Colours are rich, the image is crisp, and the motion handling is on par with (if not better than) my ASUS TUF monitor, which was a real surprise.The built-in speakers aren’t amazing, but that’s to be expected with a portable monitor, I use headphones anyway, so it’s more of a bonus feature than a main one. Another bonus is the VESA mount, which is something most monitors this size don’t include. It gave me more flexibility with how I wanted to set it up.The only downside is the menu navigation it’s not the most intuitive to use. But once you’ve set everything up, you won’t need to touch it much, so it’s a minor gripe.Overall, this monitor has delivered above and beyond. If you’re on the fence due to the brand name, don’t be. It’s an absolute gem for gaming and travel.

The first monitor I ordered was faulty and stated in the manual that it ran at 60hz, not the advertised 120hz.I initially left a 1 star review but since then, the team at UPERFECT have gone above and beyond to turn my experience around.They reached out to me immediately and explained that the manual was a mis print and kindly offered to send me out a replacement monitor.The new monitor has arrived at its evident there was just a fault with the first one. The picture quality is completely different and runs much smoother. I’ve tested it at 120hz and it definitely runs at that refresh rate.It’s an amazing screen for the price and I can’t recommend the customer service team highly enough for resolving my initial issue.

Amazing picture quality and colours next to my Macbook pro 15 retina screen.It works amazingly well at 2560 x1440 resolution which is very high for this physical size of the screen. perhaps a little too high for my eyesight (I use 1728x1117 on my Macbook pro) so at this resolution i find it hard to see text.Running at lower resolutions though the edges look slightly blurred and feathered, perhaps because not running at its native resolution.Also it was strange that my Macbook doesn't pick up the max resolution unless you go into the advanced configuration (perhaps just a Apple driver issue)

I've always flirted with the idea of owning a portable monitor because I travel a lot and the idea of purchasing a laptop, which can be expensive for my needs, isn't something I was keen on.This portable monitor is really what you make of it and I can't emphasise this enough. I've coupled it with my Samsung to use DeX for completing most tasks nowadays, and because my S24 Ultra is already an extremely capable device, I've been able to seamlessly use the monitor to play games with a wireless controller and watch movies in stunning detail. You have a lot of menu settings to play with to make the display look the way you want it to. I personally find it bright enough for my usage.As I said, it is what you make of it. So if I need that extra horsepower and versatility I simply swap out my phone for my Mini-ITX build, connect my peripherals through a USB dock, and get to work. Being able to use my power bank for short sessions is also a huge plus. I've found that my fully charged 30,000 mAh power bank is enough to play 3 GoT episodes (the superior metric, I know).Personally, I've never used the VESA mount but I love that it exists because it gives more creativity to the user. The magnetic cover is a nice touch too. Especially because I place everything in a portable bag for my plugs, wires, peripherals, Mini-ITX that I built, etc. It makes it easier to keep it safe!Overall, I'm incredibly chuffed. My first experience with portable monitors has been such a lovely experience thanks to this bad boy. Even when I had an issue with the display, UPERFECT's customer service told me to send it back so they could send me a brand new replacement with no hesitation and free of charge!I know this reads like a paid review but in a time where enshittification wreaks havoc on consumer I just have to tip my hat to companies that give a toss about their consumer. I'll never get my OG Toblerones back or a Freddo that isn't 1/10th of the hourly minimum wage here in the UK, but at least I have this 🥺

Great product with exceptional customer service. Warranty repair completed and product returned quickly in great condition. My only gripe is the sound quality could be better but all in all for the price it's a good product. I will definitely buy from UPERFECT in future.
