This trap is Worth the price. Had tried glue traps for a week and the rat used to escape despite sticking to the glue trap. The first time I used this trap, managed to catch the pest! Good product, not suitable for big rats. watch out "daily" if you keep outside the house area, one day it trapped a squirrel then i released it immediately, squirrel is unharmed. sturdy product and easy to use.

At night I put some peanuts inside. Next day morning peanuts were there door was closed but no rat. I was bit lazy to open door. Thought I will open at night. Are they more intelligent now? Whether they check is it trap and then go inside?Next 2 days there was no rat jumping sound in my kitchen. Thought may be rat has left.After 2 days I again heard rat jumping sound from kitchen. Thought "Ohh I forgot to open trap door" So went to kitchen but surprise!!!!! Rat was inside!?? No peanuts and door is closed.Does this mean rat opened door went inside and got himself trapped??? Ordered two. One works fine. The other does not work - the hinge of the trap door was broken, and also the spring of the trapdoor would not recoil even if the broken hing is adjusted.
