CarharttHorizontal Zip Tote, Durable Water-Resistant Tote Bag with Zipper Closure

Very satisfied with this purchase. I was attending a professional seminar and needed to carry reference materials and a thick three ring binder. Everything fit and the shoulder straps were comfortable. The side pockets held my water bottle & phone. Quality materials (I saw other reviews commenting they expected heavier material such as is found in Carhartt coveralls - it is lighter weight, but is appropriate for the tote). Rugged but still professional looking and I liked the style! The zipper is nylon, but appeared to hold up well. The carrying straps are reinforced and should last the lifetime of the bag. There is a pocket with a velcro closure for a laptop. 10 out of 10, would recommend & would buy again as gifts.

This is my second tote. The third bag I have in this fabric. This is not a canvas bag. Read the description. It is lightweight, durable, and I absolutely love the zipper and bottle holders. It's easy to wipe stuff off of and does not attract dirt. This is a perfect work, school or commuter bag. I can throw it in my truck and things don't spill out. It protects my nicer purse, laptop, etc. from rain and theft(zipper again). None of mine have ever fallen apart. I turn them inside out, shove them in a delicates bag and wash them on gentle/cold no fabric softener, minimal detergent. Take them out, shape and hang them, and they are dry by morning. It stays looking good with minimal effort. Great bag! I prefer it to my Kipling, Peak or any of my leather totes.

I looooove this bag - it’s not a soft canvas, it’s a water resistant polyester material, which normally causes me sensory issues but in this case the bag is so perfect otherwise I don’t mind. I’ve thrown multiple laptops, keyboards, water bottles, another purse in (all together) and it holds its shape and is comfortable on the shoulders. The pockets inside are easily accessible so that’s where I usually leave my keys and cards for easy access. I love carhartt, they make really minimal sleek designs these days.

Bought for my 19 y/o as a gift. With the Carhart craze I thought she’d like it. I was right. Her cousin saw it and wants one now! She uses it on weekends when she comes home from college. Great durable tote. Pockets are nice to organize her things. Size is good not overly big. Definitely built to last and protects her things in the rain. Zip closure is a good feature many totes don’t offer Great bag. I would buy again.

I carry A LOT of Bible related study books and notebooks and needed a bag that would hold everything and this is the bag to use! The straps don't hurt your shoulder even if you carry many items and the side pockets hold all sizes of water bottles. (I have a large drinking cup and it holds it without an issue.) I do wish it had zipper pockets on the inside, but that is not a huge deal to me. The design is nice and I always get compliments on it. The zipper zips well and keeps everything in place. And I love that it repels water keeping all your items protected.

Excellent quality. Perfect size for my all day needs as a nurse. Not too heavy. The handles are large enough to be slung over your shoulder. Outer side pockets easily hold travel mug/ thermos on each side. Looks clean and neat. Water resistance able to be cleaned without being cheaply made

This is the PERFECT gym bag - fits a change of clothes, water bottle, lock, a pair of shoes and anything else you might need. Easy to carry around as well. I can’t speak on the long term durability of the zipper closure, but it zips smoothly and well and I haven’t had any problems or issues yet. Definitely recommend.

This is an extremely rugged feeling tote bag with a few pockets inside and a pocket specifically for a laptop computer. The inside lining in the pockets created from it feel very thin but otherwise are good for holding and separating stuff. If I wanted extra protection for my laptop, I would get a sleeve to put it in and then I would put it in the laptop compartment in this bag. Otherwise I like the look, the material, the fact that it has a zipper on top, the overall styling is a lot less feminine than my other options, and the outside material feels fairly robust.
