If you have tried the original Interlude and you love it you will be disappointed with this one. The opening is bad, smells like pure alcohol, but I decided to wait for it to settle down. Once it settles down, the scent reminds you of Interlude, but reminds you, nothing like "almost like interlude", no. It has more citrus, lacks the seriousness and strength of Interlude. It is like when you read book and you are like, 'ah, this has some of the style of this other book or author', meaning a few touches here and there. It is a dupe, so it is to be expected that it is not going to be identical, but this one is super expensive (30 usd for 30 ml) . With that money you can get a perfume that lasts long and smells nice from the beginning, like Hawas, or invest a little more (5 to 10 usd more) and get a small bottle of a nice fragrance, like clinique elixir or terre d' hermes. I am glad I did not order more bottles before trying one. The bottle is nice, though the cap is hard to remove (not that it is impossible, but it should be easier). As for the longevity, I do not know yet (I sprayed like 30 minutes ago), but I do not care anymore, because it is too far from the original and I will never buy it again. As I said, either go for a cheaper fragrance that is known for its good performance or invest in the original Interlude, that is truly a masterpiece.
