Best electric razor in my opinion
I Love this razor! this is my 4th one (My third one is still working I bought this one as a backup for when the battery needs to be charged), I have been using this for well over 20 years. The pop up trimmer (works well for the bikini area) is why I choose this razor and I love it. The razor is reliable and I think lasts a long time. I get a close shave (underarms, legs, bikini area) quickly with no cuts. I do like the previous models handle versus the new straight handle, but I can live with that.

The best electric shaver ive used so far. (ES-AWL6AG)
This is by far the easiest and fastest electric shaver I’ve used so far.In my opinion, the back and forth motion works much better than the circular motion of other shavers. I’ve tried those 3 rotating blade shavers in the same price range, but they would always miss hairs and even cut me. This one hasn’t cut me a single time and makes hair disappear. I also tried the same style of shaver from a cheaper generic brand within this price range but this one is 20x better.Cons:On longer hairs it may tug slightly while removing them, causing a bit of pain at first.Very long charging time (Which is common for budget shavers)The wall charging dock is a bit clunky, i would prefer if it came with a charging cable as well.

Works
Good razor, works well enough. Not the closest shave but hasn't given me razor burn when using, wet or dry. No issues charging or with battery life. A bit bulky but I kinda like its size and weight. The brush it comes with is a little too small, so I got one of the bottle lid cleaning brushes to use instead, and that works really well. Overall decent value.

Wet/Dry Shaver is GREAT!
Last week, after shaving with a razor, I decided that I no longer had the ability to do the acrobatic moves required to shave my legs in the tub. I came out looking like a murder victim with blood running down my legs. So I finally broke down and bought this razor in the hopes of easier shaving. I purchased this one because of the lower price combined with well over 300 decent reviews. A product with that many good reviews means it is liked, and is a decent enough design to hold its own against the more expensive electric razors out there. (One reviewer mentioned some other razor, saying everyone would like it better, but the cost was three times of this one with MUCH WORSE reviews, and I could not warrant over a hundred dollars for it.)It showed up yesterday in its nice little box. After reading reviews of how it plugged directly into the wall, I had already purchased a short extension cord for it to plug into, now it can sit on the counter. I followed the instructions about charging it for 12 hours. (All Good equipment with batteries tells you to do that.) Then today is the first time I ever used an electric razor in my 40+ years. The first thing I wish to say to everyone complaining about an electric razor not being as close as a blade. NO ELECTRIC RAZOR WILL CUT AS CLOSE AS A BLADE! But this one is real close, if you work at it a bit. The first time over my legs I used a light touch and it left a bit of stubble. So I went over it again, slowly and experimenting with pressure and direction to see how close of a shave I could get. While it does not feel baby butt smooth it did a real good job. I have only used this dry and I will update once I use it wet.PROS: It comes apart for easy cleaning and future replacement of blades. Can be used wet. Until I started looking for this razor I did not know there was such a thing as a wet use electric razor, YEA! The charger sits nicely on the counter with the extension cord I bought for it, but even if I did not have the cord, the unit snaps securely in the charger and dose not fall out unless you were to knock it onto something. It lightweight and easy to use. I do not understand peoples complaints about the buttons, they have a little locking button to push before sliding it up and the design of the unit would make them very difficult to break them off. The Pivoting head makes it easier to reach those annoying areas (like under the knees.) [When using a blade you have to keep it at a constant angle to not cut yourself.] Comes with a bikini attachment (I have yet to try,) and nice clear plastic cover to protect the heads from dust and other things. It has the "GOOD HOUSEKEEPING" seal of approval on it. I am NOT spending $15 on my replacement blades every few months which sometimes end up rusty in my shower. I do NOT have to shave in the tub doing acrobatics.Another PRO: I was able to purchase an extended warranty for two years for an additional nine dollars. For me, it is well worth paying that little extra for when unknown problems arise.CONS: UM... It was not FREE! (But then if it were, I doubt it would be as good of a product.) It did not come with any sort of way to keep all the components together when not in use, but that is an easy fix I will go get a little makeup bag to store it in....PROBLEM SOLVED :<) It does seem a bit rough on the skin, but nothing major. It may be a problem if you have super sensitive skin, but I have a skin which is a little sensitive and I did not notice any adverse effects from using it. This also could be from my inexperience of using an electric razor. ITS PINK!!!! Well, more of a pink purple, but still very pink.All-in All, I fully recommend this electric razor to anyone who needs an inexpensive decent razor to use, UNLESS you want want a shave that works like a blade, then I recommend that you save your money and stick with blades. For anyone wanting a CLOSER shave, there are the masochistic epilators, or the one shaver which actually burns and removes the hair (for three easy payments of $$$...AS SEEN ON TV... What ever brand that is), or laser removal. Anyway, it works for my needs, and it is a KEEPER!Good Luck.

Shaves well but is not user-friendly.
I had this same shaver for over 20 years before it wouldn’t hold a charge and forced me to replace it. While the new model still shaves well, Panasonic made some stupid design changes and costs them some stars. The cover is huge and is hard to take off. There’s no need for this enormous cover. The old model had a small cap that covered just the top, where the foil and blades are. That’s all that’s needed, folks. Now when I try to take the cover off I often end up taking off the top half of the shaver as well. It’s a clunky and potentially damaging design. Boo.I also don’t understand why they made it so difficult to remove the encasement over the blades. This is where the foil is. I take it off after every use just to rinse the inner workings and keep it clean. They’ve made it hard to press both side buttons of the casing at the same time because it takes so much pressure to remove it. Also, as I have to grip tightly to press on both buttons I often end up hitting the On button. They really messed up by changing the design and seemed to have not taken into account that trying to press so hard on these release buttons with soapy or wet hands would be so difficult. The old design was perfect. I don’t see why they changed a design that worked and didn’t need to be altered. No consideration for ergonomics.

No mess just a good shave
Bought this brand and style shaver because the first one I bought over 10 years ago finally wore out. I switched from blade to electric and will never go back. Close, smooth, no standing in shower on one foot, no blood. Relax and watch TV and shave. This razer does it beautifully.
