Very well made with fantastic storage in mind. Very sharp blades are safely stored away in their own container. I sliced off a good chunk of three fingers using this mandolin, which means A) very sharp blades! And B) be sure to use the provided finger guard, unless you’re just itching for a trip to the emergency room.The mandolin works great, as I recall, but due to the traumatic happenings (about a year ago) I haven’t used it again since then. It was easy and kind of fun, until the blood. I can’t detract any stars for my own stupidity, so I’m just telling it like it is.

It includes 6 different blades. One of them is perfect for cabbage salad. It slices cabbage very thinly, and all goes to the bottom box. It makes me easy to prepare and clean my kitchen. My friends ask me how I make cabbage like this. So I recommend this to my three different friends!+ I attached the cabbage salad which I make with this product!

I like this mandolin. It slices my large onions nicely for onion rings. The waffle blade size would be nicer if it was thicker. The regular blade size that gives thick slices it great for onion rings. I have tried using the julienne slicer for carrots, and it's a bit hard pushing the carrots, but does cut them well. Due to the difficulty pushing the carrots I wasn't able the slice my carrots all the way. I had to bring out my other slicer to finish the job. Using the shredder for shredding zucchini and mozzarella cheese was messy. The area for lifting the blade was a catch all for what didn't go through the blade. Maybe it would work better with a hard cheese like cheddar or parmesan. The only blade I haven't used yet it the masher? Haven't had a use for that one yet.I have found it a little difficult to use as you need to use quite a bit of strength to push what you are slicing. Also the hand device use to pierce the food doesn't pierce too well. I hand to make sure I pushed out the metal spikes in order to get my onions and potatoes to slide through right. The little plastic spikes don't grab the food too well. Aside from that I think it's a good mandolin and I like that there is a hand guard.

So far I've only used the straight blades, they work well for me. I use them to slice veggies for salads. Very sharp, use the handle thing, be careful of your fingers.

for the most the product is good. compact, good that it catches your food in the container, attachment pretty versatile and cleans easily. cons: the blade angle doesn't for the slicer makes the cuts more difficult to make or the blades aren't sharp enough. the attachments could use a thicker cut. softer foods like tomatoes don't cut well with the thinner attachment. So my assessment is, cutting dense items carrots, onions, peppers, lemons, etc. works pretty good. Cutting soft items like ripe tomatoes, not so good. it's either the thickness of the attachment, the blade sharpness or cut angle.Also i've only tried the slicing attachments. never got to the grader or julienne blades

This is a great addition to the kitchen. A regular mandolin in our home was dangerous! Many sliced fingers. This one has been so easy to work with and no bloody fingers! Great options for slicing and dicing. Easy to clean, assemble, and store.

If you are making large portions of chopped cucumber or vegetables this is for you especially for parties or a large family makes the work a thousand times easier. Not only that the price is not bad at all. It is small enough to fit in a area on top of your countertop without taking up a lot of space.
