Review of 250407 AI - B0CQWD1W8 - 8Pcs Exterior & Interior Door Handles Toyota Camry 1997:I have an original 1997 Camry, bought new. This is undoubtedly one of the best cars ever made. It already has over a quarter million miles and acts like it might double that. It's also designed to be worked on easily. Can't buy a car like that today!I've had to replace two outside door handles -- the driver's door and the rear door behind it. I know how the rear door broke -- I was angry after getting off a call with a cellphone company and walked outside and snatched the door open. The problem was -- it was locked, so the handle broke off in my hand. There's a good chance that's also how the driver's door handle cracked and eventually broke, but it could have cracked from all the years of use.I replaced both handles. The rear one still works, but I made a mistake and over-tightened one of the screws in the driver's handle which broke the metal insert loose from its plastic seat. I tried epoxying it in, but it hasn't held. Also, somehow I snapped the rear inner handle... it still works, but doesn't look good. The inner handle isn't crucial, but the driver's side door is, so it's time to fix them.This complete eight-piece set is actually cheaper than buying the two handles separately. I will have to paint the outside handle to match the body color, but the inner handle is universal for tan interiors. You can be sure I'll be more careful tightening the screws this time. These handles look almost like the originals, maybe a little lesser quality. But they look like they will work just fine.
