Related to Ouzo and Pernod but distinctively different. If you like those you will like this too, and for me I much prefer it although while I like Pernod with a drop of water I did much prefer to drink this straight. That extra alcohol also gives it a nice bite which water takes away completely.I did try it Turkish style, over ice and water added but it just didn't do it for me. Straight though, I could happily drink it all evening long. Aniseed/fennel though is an acquire taste to many people so if you are one of those people who doesn't like liquorice, don't bother trying. Leave it to those of us who do! lol

If this is one of your favourite drinks then you will simply love it . Its however too expensive and be aware that its stronger than standard spirt drink .

Pleasant, with a characteristic taste as well as the expected flavours.
I like Pastis & Ouzo type drinks, and have a couple of favourites. This fits the genre well, but has a characetristic after taste that's a little different from the usual. Also works very well as a digestif, and is nice to sip after dinner.
