Why does my coffee spray everywhere when using a bottomless portafilter?

This is mainly caused by clumps and uneven distribution of ground coffee in the filter. To break up clumps and ensure even distribution, we recommend using a WDT tool and a 51mm coffee distributor before tamping. These will help reduce channeling.
