Does this turn off during day time?

Hi Sir / Ma'am, The illuminator has this photocell sensor that detects ambient light, it controls the light to turn on when it's dark (less than 20 lux) and turn off when it's bright. The photocell is located at the back of the lamp, the small round spot near where the cable comes out. If you need to keep the light on, you may use a black tape to cover the photocell. What s the difference between this model and the tendelux di20 ir illuminator?
