BUSHIDO Black Katana premium arabica whole coffee beans, 2.2 pound (1000g), medium roast

Pretty good! I typed in Japanese coffee and gave this a shot based on the description and few reviews. I wasn't disappointed. It has a unique and well balanced flavor and aroma. I definitely will keep Bushido in my rotation. Arigato 👍🏾

Surprised by this brand. I bought a 2lb bag during July prime days and I will keep this in constant rotation. I had 0 idea how this bean brews and tastes but after opening the bag and doing a pour over I can report it's a very tasty bean at medium roast.Like most have reported, very happy with these beans. Never thought I'd be buying beans roasted in the Netherlands.

The coffee was packaged well. The delivery was seamless and on-time. The taste was smooth and lite. I was looking for a more bold flavored coffee. This was more like a cross between a Starbucks Blonde and Pike. I use a French Press for making my coffee.

Really enjoying these beans! They have a nice medium roast flavor — smooth and not too acidic.I’ve tried many premium coffee beans on Amazon, and Bushido really stands out. The beans arrive fresh and smell amazing right out of the bag.The aroma when brewing is fantastic. I use it mostly for espresso and get a really nice crema every time. Rich flavor, no burnt taste.Also love that the beans are not super oily, so they don’t gum up my espresso machine.Overall, a really enjoyable coffee. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a high-quality European-style coffee that’s consistent and fresh! Will definitely buy again!

good taste

I bought it during Prime Deals week for around $26. Worth every penny. Now I see the price is $33. Am not sure if I will reorder at this price.

I took a chance on this coffee because of all the good reviews, even though it was a full kilo and priced accordingly. I've enjoyed the coffee I've brewed from it, but it didn't make my favorites list, so it'll probably be a while before I come back to it.Overall a solid cup of coffee, but nothing about it really stands out to me. Quality beans competently roasted, which is all you can really ask for,. but many other roasters manage the same. Given that, the price seems a little high.I grind in a KitchenAid conical burr grinder and brew with a Fellow Aiden drip machine.
