I have had melasma for over 25 years. Tried everything from peels, acids, tretinoin, and hydroquinone compounds. With the exception of hydroquinone that faded the melasma somewhat, the other products did not work and had more side effects like peeling, etc. Using hydroquinone continuously is not recommended so during off-hydroquinone months, the melasma came back resulting in a cycle that never really cleared melasma. I did my research on various dermatology sites and found out the Thiamidol is the new substitute to hydroquinone with zero side effects and can be used long term. I decided give it a shot and started using it three weeks ago. I have zero side effects and the melasma is fading slowly but I see progress. Just the fact that I can use it long term is in itself a plus. I use the Nivea Dark Spot cream with spf 50 and Thiamidol during the day and the Eucerin Night Cream with Thiamidol. I do layer this with Vitamin C, Niacinamide and arbutin. Seal it with petroleum jelly or beef tallow. I think with patience and diligence I can get rid of my melasma. Eucerin is the only product that I found has Thiamidol. Love it and hope they will keep prices less than prescription hyperpigmentation solutions.

The reason I think this is a really great product is because it is lightweight yet moisturizes well. It leaves my face feeling refreshed without any heaviness. I've noticed some skin tone improvement after using it regularly. Highly recommended for those needing a good night cream.

This stuff worksI use it below my eyes my jaw line and chest my super dark spots are almost gone. I am a real person and this truly does work. I love it I bought it for myself and my mother in-law her spots are going away as well

Excellent cream, I bought the complete treatment, I've using for abouit 3 weeks, but I noticed results since the second week, it leaves my skin very moisturized without clogging my pores.

This is a very solid purchase because I really like how moisturizing it feels at night. The night cream helps improve my skin tone and reduces dark spots. The Thiamidol ingredient seems effective. My skin looks more radiant now. Overall, a good product for skin care.

There's so much horrible fragrance in this it's burning my eyes. What happened to eucerin being a sensitive skin brand? My face smells like old lady perfume.

I’ve had some really great results from this line. It’s the most effective topical product I’ve used to fade age/sun spots, and I’ve tried a bunch! From Vitamin C to Tretinoin, no lotion has helped like Radiant Tone.I started with the day lotion and within a week or two noticed the two bigger spots on my face had begun to fade, and my complexion looked more even. I decided to add this night lotion to really maximize my results, and I’m very happy I did! While the darker spots are still there, they have faded by about half or more, and are barely noticeable when I use tinted moisturizer.The only reason I can’t give this five stars is the FRAGRANCE! Eurecin is known for effective products for sensitive skin…so I can’t understand why this (and all of the Radiant Tone) has added fragrance! I don’t particularly mind, but I would prefer fragrance free, and I know a lot of consumers would prefer the same (not to mention the entire dermatology community likely feels the same way!).
