I am extremely passionate about beauty care and I have been interested in snail serum for quite some time now. I know how important it is to find beauty products that really work. I have taken my own before and after pictures and also a picture to share. I find this step to be very important and recommend doing this as well. Biopelle Tensage Intensive repair factor features SCA repair technology which is a special secretion from the Cryptomphalus aspersa snail. I have learned that this contains growth factors combined with glycoproteins and antioxidants that help maintain and protect the skin from visible photodamage.This kit includes 10 individual vials the do not close once open. Each vial is to be thoroughly used and not left for another time. The directions say if you use this serum twice-daily you can see results in as little as 5 days. The directions also state that you may use this only once a day as well. I tried using it in the morning as well while traveling and it was great but once home I used it at night. I like the option to use the serum nightly because it does seem to be a little bit tacky and I did not want to mix my makeup into it and wanted the full effect.It is normal to feel mild tingling and I did. The serum looks like I would expect and I believe most would expect snail serum to look like. It also has a slick feeling and glides over my face. I was not to keen on the scent though it dissipates. It smells a bit like aged perfume but not as heavy as some products I have used.Things I would like improved- I would like to be able to close the vials. I feel there is too much serum in each vial for a one time use even with coating my face, neck, ears, etc. (or have a different dispensing mechanism) Another aspect I would like changed be the scent. It smells like aged perfume and does not have a youthful smell. This is obviously something added and perhaps a different scent choice would be nice.Bottom line- I feel that this product does do as it says it will do and is worth looking more into based on my results. I feel that the directions need to be followed to get the desired results and photos are very important.

I can only imagine how much it costs to produce such intricate packaging but I'd rather just pay for the product. Do you think I will be tricked into believing in a greater value of my purchase because of the packaging?

I tried to read the instructions behind the product and I had a lot of questions -1. How much should I use?2. When to use it?3. Who is this serum formulated for? Mature skin? All skin?4. How long can I use this for before it needs to be discarded?So I reached out to their customer service via email. A person did respond, her email as follows-"Thank you for your inquiry. The directions for use are as follows:Thoroughly cleanser your skin, pat dry.Hold tube upright and twist cap counterclockwise.Gently squeeze into the palm of your hand.Apply with light sweeping motions over your face, neck and/or décolletage.It is normal to feel a mild tingling upon application. If any irritation or redness occurs, discontinue use, at least temporarily.Use once or twice daily or as directed by your skin care professional.This product is ideal for those who are looking for a fast, dramatic improvement in as little as 5 days when used twice daily and is typically used by those with more mature skin, or photodamaged skin."Those where the exact instructions on their website and the product. So I send her another email asking for more info and also on HOW much product I need to squeeze out? For which she wrote back saying - "Yes, you are correct that what I wrote is what is printed on the packaging as those are the instructions for use. How much you squeeze into your hand will be dependent upon where you are applying the product. If you are only applying to the face, then a dime size should be sufficient. If you are applying to the face, neck and décolletage then more would be required. Someone with sensitive skin can use the Tensage Intensive Serum 50 as long as the skin is not already irritated or has abrasions or open wounds. The 50 is the level of SCA Biorepair Technology found in the product. In this case it is 50% SCA, the highest level in the Tensage growth factor line." She STILL didn't answer my question.After some research, it seems you need to use 1 tube - a little on your face, neck and where ever you may need but use the entire tube. They are not resealable and cannot be reused every night. Once opened, you need to finish the tube.Instructions - Use 1 tube everyday for 7 days and then 1 tube once a week for 3 weeks after that. My understanding is, you use this first after you've washed your face and before you use any other products like a serum or moisturizer.Since I had used up some of the tubes before i knew the right way to use it, I could only try using it for 5 days. I didn't notice any difference. I am in my mid 30s and have relatively healthy skin but I haven't noticed any difference in my hyper pigmentation. 3 stars.
