I have very THICK, at times coarse, and not easily managed hair. I struggled with finding natural hairstyles that would last and that I was confident with wearing. I always wanted to wear my hair curly after a wash day but have NEVER found a gel or curling cream that would tame my hair. So when I decided to give in and try the Miche humidity gel I knew I was gambling. But lemme tell you! This has tamed my hair and curls and it’s day 2. I do have to use a lot of the product because I have so much hair and I did need to de tangle and moisturize before applying the gel, which is a process but a process I am used to and cannot avoid, but the end results were worth it. I’m curious to see how my hair will hold up day 3 and beyond.

The product works really well . Not sure if it's because I have natural curly hair but it does say it works on types of hair so try it.. I also would like to say 1st .. packing this plastic container in a bag is definitely not a smart idea. When my package arrived it was opened & some spilled out in the bag it was shipped in some please AMAZON SHIP IT IN A BOX THAT IT WOULD FIT IN..& THE PRICE IS A LITTLE OVERRATED..

I wanted to share two methods I used with this gel. The first method I used was on wet hair only rung out in the shower. I applied by sections and brushed it through. It definitely did seal up the water and left no frizz and locked up my curls in its exact pattern with shine but the crunchiness it left when it dried was a big no for me. There was no softness and I didn’t like that. So what I did in the second method was on wet hair in the shower, I rung out my hair only and then I applied a leave in conditioner and then I took the gel and emulsified first (rubbing it in my hands and then just finger combing it through my hair). Method 2 did the trick for me. I styled my hair in the part that I wanted and then I finished it off with a good hair oil and it was nice and soft when it dried. So for anyone that got that stiffness I totally understand. Pics I provided was the first method straight out the shower before it dried and then the 2nd one is the day after method 2 where you can see the curls looking soft and still in place and that is due to the gel. It is very light weight and you really don’t need a lot so I think for the price point it will last awhile. Took a star off because you definitely can’t use this as a stand alone product.

Just found out about this stuff! I’ve used twice and the first time, my 3C curls lasted nearly a week. Now, I’m on day 10 and my curls are intact, even in the south with heat and heavy humidity.Many curls are fairly crunchy the first several days but begin to soften up. I don’t break the curl cast since I want the curls to last longer. I don’t add anything else to the product … just gel, water and my curls.

The product itself is okay. I wouldn’t recommend using it for wash and gos on 4b/c hair because it does dry very hard and flakes up and leaves white gunk build up on the roots after a couple days. I am now using it for taming stray hairs for my slick bun styles and edge control, but even that is risky because of the white residue after drying.There’s another problem that I have with this product. Shrinkflation. I have order three times from this company, and I’ve noticed that the containers are getting smaller each time. I will not continue to buy from a company once I notice that they are giving less and charging more. That is robbery to me. So after I finish this last container I will no longer buy from them. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have 3b curly hair and this gel is amazing. It give a nice strong hold by itself. I originally used a leave in conditioner with it but didn't like the results so I tried it by itself and it gave me hold and frizz free curls like no other product. I used to layer leave in, curl creams and gels. However, now all I need is 1 product. It's been 6 plus years since I've been able to find something that works since Diva curl had to change their ingredients. Thank you Miche!

I bought this product because I saw it advertised on Facebook.It is not for my 4C hair type.It smells good and helpful for sculpt ing curls but after drying, my hair was hard -like old school*dippity do* product results. I think it's more of a mixed chicks hair product appreciation. I don't recommend this for 4C types unless you have someone you can pass it on too if your results are unsatisfactory. But if it works for you, may you enjoy the product.

I don’t know where this has been all of my life. So glad I discovered it this summer, it’s been a game changer for my curls especially my grays! Now I only need this one hair product to use instead of two!
