All I can say is WOW! This thermometer is amazing! I have had aquariums all my life and have been through many thermometers and none of them came close to being as terrific as Seaoura. The digital display is large, bold, and very easy to read, and the motion sensor is an awesome feature - all I do is walk into the room that my aquarium is in and the display lights up telling me the temperature. The device is very precise and maintains the preset temperature flawlessly. It is incredibly easy to use and allows setting of the minimum low and maximum high temperature with an alarm that alerts you to temps outside of your presets. This is a wonderful device that takes a lot of guesswork and fuss out of owning an aquarium. I am super pleased with it.

I got this to keep an eye on my tanks display from far. The sensor and visibility are excellent. Accurate as well. More or less on par with the thermometer in the aquarium. I think it was worth the buy. My only complaint is the battery will drain fast depending on motion. But rechargeable batteries work great.

Works great and appears accurate. Nice that it lights up with movement to show tempature. Took off one point due to trigger for light seems inconsistent. Easy to set up.

Temperature alert is awesome. Temperature fluctuation monitor is nice as well. I like that it can be calibrated. I matched it to my heater temp sensor/controller which is bulky, sits out of sight, and heater can not be calibrated. I give 3 stars because its an excellent product but can be accidentally ripped apart when changing the battery. Needs a stronger housing. The motion sensor is cool but playing peekaboo with it so you can read all information makes my guests look at me like im crazy. Recommend increasing the timeout or even dim the display for a few extra seconds before shutting off.

This item is a 10 star product. My glass mounted strip thermometers were just not readable without a bright light. This LED unit displays when you approach the aquarium, shows the temperature to tenths °, the recent temperature variation and then turns off to save battery life. An audible alarm is built in to warn of temps too hot or too cold, preset by you. Its displayed temperature is accurate.This is an inexpensive safety device to protect your hundreds of dollars of tropical fish.

This is the best thermometer. I chose it because it can be calibrated. I didn't need to. Accurate out of the box. But it is so convenient. It has temp alarms, temp fluctuations, turns on immediately when walking up, and is easy to read. Welll worth the extra money.

I don’t like this product. First you have to get up and walk up to it before you can get a reading. The temperature is not accurate of 2 or more degrees. The battery life is not that long unless you put it at 2 sec. Not very easy to use. Would not buy again. Overpriced

Now own three of them didn't need to calibrate any of them.
