Giving it 5 stars because it delivers well on what its designed to be. I think a lot of the negative reviews for the $200 model are based on unrealistic expectations. The scooter has a small motor with a small battery pack, so a range of 10-20 miles is pretty good for a device like this.Everything I'm about to say should be prefaced with the fact that I weigh about 200lbs.I found the speed reaches a maximum of 17mph, which is plenty for a frame like this, I honestly don't know why you would want it to go any faster, given the small wheel base and lighter frame.The suspension isn't the best on rough surfaces, but for the price and size, thats to be expected. On smooth surfaces like sidewalks, however, it handles well.Battery life is about what I expected. On a single charge, I was able to go about 10 miles before the battery dropped to below 50%, and that was while I was going 17mph for most of the ride. With a capacity like that, I think this makes for a pretty good commuter device, especially if you can ride it to work and charge it while you're there.The frame feels sturdy without being overly cumbersome, and its light enough to be carried in one handAll in all, I feel this was a good value for the price, and I would probably give the more expensive models from this manufacturer a shot.

The wheels also contribute to a smooth ride even on bumpier roads. It’s pretty good with hill, and the braking system feels safe and very responsive. The sturdy build and weight is great for long term use. No need to worry about it damaging so easily. Plus, the easy folding mechanism makes it super portable, whether for storage in my garage or carrying onto my car’s trunk. This electric scooter is a great vehicle. It’s super comfortable to ride and is very well built to handle tougher terrain!

This electric scooter feels much stronger and more solid than I expected. It’s made mostly of metal, so it’s heavier than I thought—but that also makes it feel sturdy and well-built. I bought it for my daily commute to catch the train, and it’s been a big help.It moves fast and handles well, but it’s still small enough to carry onto the train without any trouble. Even at night, I feel safe riding it—it has a bright front headlight and a blinking red light in the back, which helps a lot in low-light areas.Overall, this scooter has saved me a lot of time going to and from work. Great electrical scooter. Runs pretty fast and the charged it’s durable.Easy to assemble, has a cool night light and also a break light if you are riding at night.Breaks function pretty smooth and effective. Love the scooter color as well.

Great customer service.I bought this for my son for Christmas. This was #1 on his list and he was so happy and surprised to see it Christmas morning. I am honestly grateful for the coupon and the reasonable price which made this all possible.The scooter itself is amazing! He cruises through our neighborhood, it’s so fast! Has a headlight, brake light, horn, an app that assists him with operating the scooter .. there really are so many really cool features! We don’t live in a city, but this would be such a great commuter ride. I love how it folds up compactly so that it fits in my car.If you’re thinking of getting a scooter, but you aren’t sure which to go with, I’d say stop your search and give this one a shot. I really think the upgrade to the second model is worth the small increase in price, so keep that in mind! Happy riding :)

A less expensive and much lighter facsimile of the Segway Ninebot, from which the Maxshot appears to have taken many design cues. Rides well, supports even heavier riders (up to 250 to 260 pounds), good battery life with fairly quick charging. I strongly recommend you get the scooter with the solid (red-trimmed) tires, which are significantly less susceptible to punctures.
