I want to try to dilute in a watering can. Any ideas how much liquid feed to how many gallons of water?

I have used this for years from my watering can. I only grow flowers in containers. First I pry out the little dispenser from the neck of the bottle under the cap. I use the cap to measure....1/2 to one capful in my 2 gallon watering can every time I water, and 99% of the time I water daily. My container flowers and window boxes are spectacular.

Do you need to turn the bottle upside down after hooking it up to the hose for the plant food to come out?
