The firearm portion of the keychain does not have moving parts, it is a solid toy piece that removes from the holster portion.

I can't get the gun/keychain out of the belt holster! It feels like it will break if I pull any harder....am I missing something?

It takes time, grab gun and grab the holster with other hand and pull apart at the same time cause the gun is made of hard plastic.
