Can this measure the strength of a bar magnet?

1) The Extech 480846 cannot measure the Magnetic field of a stationary bar magnet. If you were to measure the Magnetic field you would have to oscillate (swing back and forth like a pendulum pivoted at either pole) at a frequency of ~ 2.4 GHz = 2400000000 swings per second to induce an electromagnetic field (microwave electromagnetic radiation = long wavelength light). The extech meter measures electromagnetic radiation = microwave radiation. The stationary bar magnetic field will decrease in value as a meter is moved farther away from either pole. The magnetic field emanates from the north pole and terminates on the south pole as a continuous contour line. Like a topological map the magnetic field contour lines are concentric to the bar magnet and decrease in magnitude with distance perpendicular to these contour lines and away from the bar magnet. Does this detect the experimental 5G millimeter waves as well?

hi factory technical said the 480846 was not calibrated for the 5g, but it can pick up the signal but they cant assure it would be accurate , thank Ben Brazzell at Electronic Depot inc of Georgia
