Used this board daily for 5 years. It's good. Get a silicone mat to go underneath it to keep it from slipping. I oiled it once with mineral oil when I got it and haven't needed to oil it since. No cracking after plenty of use and cleaning.

Our cutting board is two years old this month, and it's been fantastic. About once a month, I give it a thorough wash beyond a quick wipe, especially if I've cut meat on it, which happens occasionally. After cutting meat, I always clean it well. Once clean, I let it dry in the sun. When fully dry, I wipe it down with grapeseed oil. It's a great board for the price, and I'm completely satisfied.

I love my new cutting board. I live in an rv n I use the cutting board to cover ovr my sinks. It works n looks great. The wood is beautiful.

Although this is a very thick and sturdy cutting board, I don't know if I agree with the term "solid". I was under the impression that this was one solid plank of wood, it is not, but it's certainly not pressed particleboard. It's definitely well made and looks like it will be very sturdy for years to come (if the glued joints hold up),but I would not call it "solid".

I am actually using this as a counter top for a cabinet beside my stove. It works great, looks great and was cheaper than buying an actual counter top for the space.

The media could not be loaded. So normally I don't put much weight into reviews that detail product issues. In the past whenever I've purchased such a product I have never received a product that had the same the issues. This is the exception. I read the reviews that talked about the board "leaking" stain or some sort of finish and the reviews that stated the cutting board arrived warped and did not sit flat on a counter. I should have taken them seriously. But I thought there's no way these issues haven't been fixed yet so I went ahead a bought the cutting board. And I received a cutting board that was slightly warped (see the picture where the light passes underneath it on my counter) rough to the touch and in need of sanding, and that despite being wiped off a dozen times, hand washed with soap, and wiped off again, still continues to leave that brown greasy substance on everything that touches it. Ive had it for nearly two weeks now and I haven't been able to use it because it still gives off that brown "stain" or whatever it is and I don't trust that's it's safe to put food on. We'll see if it's ever usable or if it ends up returned or in the trash.

I don’t know how this cutting board doesn’t cost more!! When I bought it, it was only $40. Totally worth the money and it will be something we have forever. We have one and I also gifted one to my dad for Christmas. The board is huge and is great for carrying large amounts of meat to and from the BBQ. It’s also great for large charcuterie boards when having parties.
