Did not keep any food warm. Not worth the money.

The sturdiness of the box is not a question, nor is the carrier. Both are well made but, only if you want to keep anything cold. I made mac n cheese for lunch at 7:00 a.m. for Noon lunch and I even put a hot pack in the carrier on the bottom. I wasnt expecting it to be steaming hot but at least warm. It was ice cold. With no other way to heat it up, that's what I had to eat. I would say dont waste your money on this particular item in the line (I have others that are just fine). Look elsewhere.

I was really looking forward to this doing the job for my son's lunches in school. I cook hot meals to send to school and I have been searching for a very long time for something that would actually keep it warm/hot for a few hours. I would put boiling water in this to heat it up first to help maintain heat. His favorite meal in it is 2 baked chicken thighs, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. It actually keeps that meal hot. Very impressed. He was very impressed. When I put two loaded enchiladas that filled its capacity it didnt keep those very hot. I was disappointed in that. So my 3 stars is that some foods it stays hot for a few hours others it does not unfortunately. I make it and pack around 7:30 he eats at noon. The chicken meal has stayed hot all those hours.After having it a fairly short time... few weeks, the lid now doesn't fit. Not sure why or what happened. I noticed that one of the end clasps wasn't shutting very well. Now it's about useless. Very disappointed.For that I would give 1 star.

Nice for packing lunch, but doesn^t keep food hot

My son doesn’t really like “lunch” food and we have always had an issue sending him to school with a lunch because any type of thermos we would find, just didn’t keep his food hot. This he said kept it perfect! But you have to boil the water and leave it closed for a while to warm it before putting the hot food in.

While it very well is leak proof, the truth is that it claims other things that are simply not true: it claims the stainless steel plate is detachable, it is NOT. It claims it can retain heat for three hours, it CANNOT, even when placing the lunchbox in hot water to warm and using the "insulated" lunch box. I am extremely disappointed with this product, and I'll be hard pressed to recommend any other Lille Home products, as I know that is a brand I'll never buy from again.

High quality, great value for money paid. I couldn't have asked for anything better . Exactly what l wanted.. l am really pleased l bought this lunch box.

I bought these last month for my boys, and I tried every possible trick to keep their lunches warm, but unfortunately nothing worked. I am very disappointed as they're cheap and now they're in the back of my cupboard taking up space for nothing.
