I always found body measurement using tape a weird inaccurate science. This helps make it more accurate as its easier to manage and reduce errors from pulling tape so hard that it dents your skin and reports reduced measurements etcI gave 4 star as I would only change 1 thing. If it can secure itself at the end of the clasp as sometimes tape goes loose ams recoils and youll have to repeat process. Hope it makes sense.

I bought a similar product at GNC several years ago and when it broke I bought this one. I also gift these to friends in fitness challenges because it’s just a useful tool that makes measuring yourself a quick and simple task.

I've always struggled getting accurate measurements bc of my finger slipping or not able to adjust to make sure in right places. This eliminates that. Just lock in around what measuring and push button to tighten. Remove and your measurement is held until you pull tape or push button.

Apparently I bought this thing in January 2023, when my old digital one broke. I used it every day for the whole year except when I was on vacations, and I can say that I was pretty happy with this for that entire period. Having the little slot for the end of the tape to fix into made using it way smoother compared to most other tapes, and being analog instead of digital means it's cheaper from the start and doesn't need battery replacements. All good in my book.Unfortunately, it broke the other day; the little black knob popped off the end of the tape. But for the low price, lasting a year is alright. I wish there were more options like this.
