Shipping was quick and came with a link for installation instructions.The installation was simple and the wires were an exact copy of my old motor. This went into a Trane XL14.On my AC the motor mounts shaft down and the mounting hole on the back of the motor are in the right location but are not threaded (this info should be in the description) I tapped the holes and the rest of the installation went smoothly.If ever needed I would use this vendor again.

Works like a charm

Very simple swap for a bad unit. Runs quiet and the condenser is more efficient than before - 25F temperature drop across refrigerant lines, versus 14-15F with original fan.I was confused momentarily that it is CCW rotation, but then remembered that mine hangs upside down in the cabinet, so this yields correct rotation.I didn’t need the extra ground wire in my set up. I could have cut and terminated it, but I decided to hook it under a mounting screw for extra protection.Subtracting one star because mounting holes are not threaded, and had to be tapped. Still a great value, and I may return that star if durability is proven.

After consulting two different HVAC companies, both who wanted over $800 just for the part and then several hundred for the install, I bit the bullet and purchased this exact replacement of my condenser fan that had failed. Less than an hour of labor for one who literally had ZERO experience doing any HVAC work other than replacing air filters in my house and this motor was installed, running and house finally cooling. Delivery was fast, packaging was great and I am thrilled to have saved almost $1k by having a professional install. Super easy to install after watching a couple of youtube videos.

The mounting holes were not threaded, I was unable to install motor because of this. I reached out to manufacturer (whose amazon storefront I purchase this item from) to seek resolution for this issue. Was told that they couldn’t help me in any way (even though they sold it to me and amazon was just the shipping provider).Bummer. Ordering a second one in the hopes that this was a one time issue.

Although I might have found a better price elsewhere, this unit fit perfectly and has been working now for months.
