EGO Power+ Battery 56V, 5.0Ah, 2-Pack - BA2800T-2

Tried the Chinese knock offs, damaged the mower. These factory batteries work better and seem to last much longer on a charge. They are spendy however they are worth it.

These batteries hold their power pretty darn long and charge up fairly quickly as well. One battery will run my Ego 765 blower in Turbo mode for 20 to 25 minutes. Which I think is pretty good. I'm sure it would go well over a half hour at normal speed, but I use it mostly for drying my cars and leaf blowing. It all cases, I'm in turbo mode. I can dry my car in 5 minutes in Turbo mode. I just wish they were cheaper. They have not dropped in price at all, I bought two other batteries (the same) two years ago at the same price. I also have several attachments for snow and trimming, so I never want to run out of power. But a thousand bucks for batteries? Wow.

Factory replacements are the way to go. My oldest battery is 7 years old, and it has gradually lost its capacity. Replacement lasts much longer. This two pack was offered at a great price.There are aftermarket batteries that are much less expensive, but I trust these genuine Ego Batteries. Those not so much.

So far I have not had the courage to try off-brand batteries for my Ego power+ tools. This size is about as weighty as I want to have to carry around on hand-held tools. When my power went out one time, I ran my Starlink internet off one of these for several hour sand that got me through my critical Zoom meetings, so that was already worth what I paid.

It's crazy how good power tools operate when you finally replace the battery. I've been using the original for 7 years.

The are expensive but the battery life you would expect from OEM that you will not get from aftermarket batteries.
