5KCP39KGT785S - Goodman OEM Replacement Furnace Blower Motor 1/2 HP

I saw some reviews about this not being the right part, and just a forewarning, this will likely not be a GE part, but it is the correct size and specs to replace the GE 5KCP39KGT785T motor. I ended up returning this, but only because I thought I didn’t need it, only to end up repurchasing again anyway.The shaft is about 2” longer than my OEM motor, but still fits my squirrel cage. Otherwise this has nearly exactly the specs of my OEM part. I think the amps are off by like .5 but obviously not enough to matter, and everything else matches perfectly.I am not an electrician, but I do know how to read the electrical diagram on the inside of my furnace, and I know enough to repair simple things. I did have to go buy some crimps to finish this install, but otherwise it’s very easy to do out of the box.My favorite upgrade from my old part (other than my furnace working again) is that this motor actually has an oil port on each side - a very handy upgrade. Not that I should need to oil it any time soon 😅.

My HVAC blower is over 23 years old, so I changed my blower motor before it went out. This one fit PERFECTLY without a hassle. The new motor is slightly quieter than the original.

I had a hard time finding the proper fit for my Goodman furnace. I could have purchased a universal version but couldn't find one with a center shaft that was long enough. I finally came across this one which worked as a direct replacement. It was a more expensive than the other versions I had looked at, but allowed me to quickly and easily replace the broken part. So far it has operated beautifully. Would recommend to others.
