this works really well for milk kefirit is just right to filter out the the grains without blocking the kefir from passing throughbefore this strainer with was a lot of work to strain my kefir but this is simple and effectivealso the strainer comes shipped in a box that protects the shape so it is perfectly round like a ball the also makes it much easier to scoop out the grains with a silicon spatulasome people say dont use stainless for kefir but it has worked out great for me and the contact time is very minimal and high quality food grade stainless is non reactive especially for short durations

I have used the standard ones with the wire handles and the spot welded construction. They are cheap to buy and work ok. But these are far above the old style. The handles are larger and comfortable. The front lip rests on edges when needed. The screen is strong and consistent. Clean up is easy. The frame doesn’t flex when shaking. Overall just a more modern, better built and stronger strainer. I like quality kitchen tools and these were worth every penny.

I bought this set to replace a ~10 year old similar Oxo strainer where the handle had broken off. It is nice to have multiple sizes available for multiple uses (though I have yet to need the very small strainer and can't imagine what I would use it for), and they can be stacked for easier storage. The middle size is perfect for rinsing 1-2 cups of rice, and the larger size is ideal for cans of beans or medium servings of pasta. The strainers appear sturdy so far and do well in the dishwasher. I hope they will last 10 years like my last Oxo strainer.

This set is perfect for my needs. It’s good looking, feels good in your hand and they’re made so well! I’ve had my fair share of strainers that ended up with bent and rusted mesh but this set of strainers does not bend; no rusty mesh, no food getting caught anywhere, just perfect performance with every use. I have washed them by hand and in the dishwasher on the top rack - they still function perfectly and look amazing after almost daily use. I highly recommend this set and almost want to buy another one as back up in case one of the kids takes it outdoors to make mud pies and I never see it again! I’m actually concerned about being without my pretty strainers. Omg I’m officially old

I mainly wanted these for straining rice and while they're great and sturdy and I like the nice wide handle, I don't like that there's a "lip" between the rim and the strainer that rice gets caught in. obviously all strainers will have some sort of lip, but I think because these are fairly sturdy plastic, the lip protrudes more. not a deal breaker, but a small annoyance for sure. otherwise it's a great set and having the different sizes is actually quite handy. I use the small one when squeezing citrus, the medium on for rice and the large one for rinsing veggies.

I bought a different brand and it was not sturdy. It was bent in several places. It sent it back and got the OXO Good Grips. Wow. Great quality. The three sizes will handle anything I do. I do not use a dish washer, so to clean them I use a semi-soft bottle brush and rinse them. Easy, quick - I love it.OXO has more that one set, I like these the best.

I've never been disappointed in any item made by OXO and these strainers are just as we expected from this company. They are great quality, as always. The handles fit your hand perfectly and make it easy to hold onto as you use the lip on the other side of the strainer to rest on your sink to drain liquids or on the edge of your saucepan as you add ingredients. The smaller ones make it super easy to mix your spices together to sift them into your mixture. I highly recommend this set. You can't beat the price or the quality!
