Is the quilt pattern on the pad transfer onto light-weight materials or any fabric actually??

It will show up on the fabric. The hotter the iron the more it will show up but it goes away when it cools.

can I use both sides?

Both sides are of the same material. For me, I use the side with magnet’s adhering to my dryer top. But both side can be used with steam or dry irons. 💜

Can i use this on top of my laminate counter top

No because the heat and steam from iron will penetrate through to counter top and may cause damage.

Where is this manufactured?

There is no tag stating “made in...”. I will tell you that I am pleased with this purchase (quality), yet have been dismayed from a number of other “chance” purchases from Amazon. This pad has heavy-duty magnets and the silver pad is like an old-fashioned ironing board reflective material cover. I looked up original order and did not find location of manufacturing.
