Not as crappy as you're probably thinking they are, but still not that great. The material doesn't really stretch. The time-honored trick of mashing the garbage down when it's full instead of just taking it out usually results in catastrophic and embarrassing failure. I'm buying these for the warm fuzzy feeling I get from saving all the plastic trees or whatever anyway.

Here in Jersey City an ordinance became law about two weeks ago banning the use of plastic bags. After the initial panic, I took to Amazon to find a solution that I could live with. Enter the product I eventually bought. It was really cost effective, and yes, it is biodegradable. It's 5 gal. size was perfect for collecting and disposing of household waste. Product sold by Aqearl, and comes in rolls of 10 ea. Great deal, within my budget. I recommend it.

I hate using plastic bags but when I found these, decided to try them as they seem less harmful than others. They are wonderful, and although I scored the thickness at 4 stars (they are somewhat thin, not extra thick at all) I've not had any trouble with leakage or tears. I use them in our kitchen and have been surprised at how sturdy they are given their thinness. They are awesome and will definitely be purchased again.

I recently bought this trash bag and couldn't be more happy. I was a little hesitant at first because I was not sure if it's strong enough. But, pleasantly surprised! They are very strong and don't break apart. There is no leak and it doesn't have any toxic/plastic smell to it. It's a perfect small trash bag that I use in the bathroom, office and kitchen. I feel happy that it's biodegradable and I'm able to go the eco- friendly route with these trash bags.

These are strong and liquid doesn't soak through. Also, they don't cost an arm and a leg. It's hard to believe they're biodegradable, since they feel like plastic.....but that's how they're advertised so I choose to believe it. I'm happy with every step I make away from polluting the planet.

These bags were a perfect fit for our Dog's poop pail, so I am happy I had found these. Being biodegradable, was a nice bonus. It seems most bag sizes are either 4 or 8 gallon, so these are great and fit the bill. Not too worried about strength either...

I like the price and the product is fairly good. They are big enough for saying use and hold a lot of trash but they are not too strong, this is expected though, but it does the job for me. I’m happy with the product and will continue to buy.

I really like these recycling bags because they help me do my part to get the “trash” that I can’t recycle out to the garbage can and I believe they will disintegrate in the land fill.
