Great product, would def recommend! The material is quality — not thin or cheap feeling. 4 month old able to use it without any issues. I feel very confident in the safety of it. I can’t see any way that it would be able to flip over. The baby’s head is propped way above the water with their bottom and feet comfortably in the water to allow the baby to practicing kicking. I’ve now had it blown up for at least a week and there’s been no leaking of air. There are 4 different compartments that need to be separately blown up. The shade part does unhook and fold into a flat circle for travel.

We used the LAYCOL Baby Swimming Float when our baby was about 5 months old, and it was hands-down one of the best baby gear purchases we’ve made. It’s super portable and packable—perfect for travel or just tossing in the car for a quick pool trip. It inflates and deflates easily, doesn’t take up much space, and has held up really well over multiple uses.The float felt very sturdy in the water. We even flipped it over (without our daughter in it!) to test the stability, and it didn’t tip easily, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our baby absolutely loved it. She was all smiles, kicking and splashing around, and the float kept her comfortably supported the whole time.The sun canopy is a great addition too. It provides decent shade, though I’d still recommend using sunscreen since it doesn’t block all sun exposure. That said, we appreciated having the extra coverage.Overall, the design is thoughtful and safety-forward without sacrificing fun. I’ve used this float with both of my boys, at different stages, and I honestly love how versatile it is. With my older son (around 8 months), I used it the standard way — upright with the seat — and he felt secure and comfortable the whole time. It made pool days fun for him and less stressful for me!With my second baby, who was much younger, I laid him on his back and used it more like a little floating pillow with the sunshade on. He was relaxed, shaded, and totally content — and I loved having a way for him to safely enjoy the water, even just lounging.The quality is great, the sun canopy is a major bonus, and it’s easy to inflate and pack up. I will definitely be pulling this out of storage for my 3rd baby!

We were looking for something that was small enough to travel with, had sun protection, and where she could be half in the water so she could get familiar with being in the water. This worked great for us, felt sturdy and I would recommend it over others!

Baby didn’t like this, didn’t seem as safe. But cute!

For the price it’s awesome. I really appreciated the mini pump it came with. My baby is 10 months old and it felt sturdy in the water and he was a happy baby. The straps are maybe a little cumbersome, but overall a good product.
