Another UPDATE...
****Update**** ((Most recent 01/18/23))I reached out to Magpul via their website and customer service sent me what I needed to fix the belt!! As in time past dealing with Magpul - They produce good stuff and are great to deal with. It turned out to be a simple fix, and I am so happy to have my "Favorite" edc belt back in action! I will be ordering another of a different color soon. If you are reading this review, you should know that I have been carrying concealed for years and this is the best belt that I have ever owned - especially in regard to carrying concealed. My highest recommendations apply here!! I am leaving my previous reviews intact for full disclosure and transparency. The eyelet/grommet unscrewed from its position. I had no idea it was a screw on type fitting and should have just checked on it from time to time. Magpul customer service was quick in sending me out what I needed, and it took me all of 5 seconds to get it back up and running again. Extremely satisfied customer!!!**Update** (previous)I loved this belt. Right up until it broke. Moderate/light use… Bought in May of 22’ broke last week (01-06-23). I have 3 other belts of less quality and far cheaper that I’ve owned for 10-15 years… (I’m not hard on my stuff)(Original Review)It’s pricey, but I don’t regret buying it. So far so good. It’s a better everyday option verses my 5.11 tactical nylon. The magpul belt doesn’t scream “gun”. The lay flat buckle is also not harsh on my fat. That’s always a plus! So far, it’s held up well.

Heavy duty
The price might seem steep but this belt will last you 5+ years as to buying a $20 cheap belt every 6 months, Definitely worth it.

If you carry a gun, you owe it to yourself to have a belt like this.
If you carry a gun, you need a sturdy belt to ensure that you can carry comfortably. This belt is nice and rigid, but still soft and comfortable, and it looks great too!Rigidity - the belt is nice and rigid due to the double layered design, this keeps it from sagging or twisting under the weight of your gun, which keeps your holster right where you want it and prevents your gun from tilting out and printing badly if you're trying to conceal. The belt does even flinch under the weight of my full size 1911, which weighs in around 2.6 pounds loaded.Comfort - I had concerns about the comfort of the belt considering that the inner layer is polymer, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is very soft. I have no problem wearing this belt all day.Quality - I'd expect nothing less from Magpul, the quality is excellent. These belts are made in Texas by guys that clearly know a thing or two about making belts. The material is soft and sturdy, the stitching is heavy duty, and the buckle is rock solid.Style - You can't go wrong with a well-made leather belt. It looks like a high-quality, no non-sense belt. It's not overly flashy, and the silver color hardware on the belt looks much less gaudy then brass hardware in my opinion. If you are in the market for a gun belt, do yourself a favor and spend the money to get a nice one. In terms of a nice belt, you can't go wrong with the Magpul Tejas!

Will hold your load.
Bought this belt in size 36, black. Pretty much what I expected. The polymer backing against the leather front makes for a thick sturdy belt. Top and bottom of the belt is stitched to keep polymer back and leather front together. The whole front of the belt is plain leather. The polymer backing is a dark gray and a little tacky. It's thick but not too stiff that you can't bend it but it's not as yielding as a plain leather belt. My EDC load is a S&W J frame revolver in a "101 Holsters" kydex belt holster, four speed loader pouches from Jox with Comp I speed loaders, a 2x2x2 ammo pouch, a glove pouch and a Blackberry and Note 3 in horizontal belt pouches. Handled the load comfortably. I could easily have used a size 38 but then the tail would have overlapped the 1:00 area where I carry my Blackberry. I prefer a shorter tail so that 1:00 area is free for me to carry my Blackberry in a pouch. Follow their sizing instructions.

Best belt I ever owned
Fits exactly to your waist dive so order 1 up if you inside the waist carry. Super sturdy. The true test is in the bathroom when you gotta go. The pistol stands straight up and the belt is solid.

Serious belt, tough but comfortable and looks good!
I’ve recently gone through several $30 - $60 belts that look and feel good, but did not last and lost their shape, sometimes in a matter of weeks. This is a serious belt that is heavy and firm, but feels “normal” and comfortable when it is worn. It does not move or bend when you apply a holster and it feels and looks just like a regular casual or smart / casual item. This belt feels like it could last forever, so it should be excellent value!

Super happy!
Belt is nice and thick/sturdy. Holds my rig securely and close to my body without sagging. The leather and buckle are both made from quality materials and definitely look like a high-end product!I was happy with my 5.11 belt until now. No comparison!
