Grandson enjoyed playing with the Brio train. Moves with ease. Nice fit for a 4 year old child. Functions well. Quality weight.

i did not like to receive a new item and its already been opened by someone else now i have to tape it up and give it to my grandson that way for his birthday . it was what he requested for his birthday. now it does not look new

He lived as my brother and sister in law said he had been asking for one every day for a month or 2 so I got it for his birthday would highly recommend for any young train lover

Works great

Grandson loves trains but at 6 or 7 was starting to lose interest in "Thomas and Friends" and wanted more "grown-up" engines for his set. He had visited the Union Pacific Big Boy engine on a family vacation and this was as close as we could get at the time for his wooden set. This is his favorite and he still loves to build layouts and run his trains 2 years later!!

So, I typed in “battery powered trains for wooden track” in the search bar. This is the FIRST train that popped up. It’s called the “Speedy Bullet Train”. Gives impression of running on batteries, but it’s a push type engine. It was nice, EXTREMELY well packaged, but we returned it when we realized it was not battery operated.

I don't know why but I really like the feel of this toy. The train has a really nice weight to it. I have no idea why that should matter but it does. It rolls well. My son loves it. It is pricey. I can't say it's worth it for everyone. When my kid outgrows his toys, I'm probably going to keep this one for myself if he doesn't want it. I'm not even into trains.
